PDC 18/4: For drilling and screw driving with large diameters, the QUADRIVE PDC 18 cordless percussion drill delivers high power and speeds with its robust four-gear metal gearbox. Powerful screw driving with a torque of 42 ft-lb in first gear and precise drilling with 3,800 rpm in fourth gear is no longer a problem. Whether working with wood or metal or even in brickwork with the axial impact activated - the PDC 18 is extremely tough and its maintenance-free brushless EC-TEC motor ensures excellent durability.
BHC: The new BHC 18 Rotary Hammer has the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. Combined with a compact and ergonomic C-handle design, the BHC’s lightweight and low vibration makes for efficient and comfortable one-handed use, whether for extended periods or even overhead applications. And since a tool like this is going to be pushed to its limits day after day, we’re backing it up with Festool’s exclusive Warranty All-Inclusive.

Thank you for the details on your drills. I sometimes make finished sample doors. I attach the drawer and door to the frame with screws. Having the screw come perfectly flush with the frame is very desirable. And you have a tool that will do that consistently over and over. How great is that.
I have that dust shroud. It is absolutely magic. No dust anywhere and stays right where I place it
RIP Eddie!! Panama
That dust shroud is too heavy, the rubber makita one is the best I've used.
Just bought the PDC and the BHC and I can say I’m very disappointed with them they haven’t got any guts or torque, as you saw the PDC kept stopping in the breeze block not concrete.
And the 3/8 bit it was already pre-drilled before he started on the BHC.
Leeds UK got a mention! Cool
Steve
Noticed only bhc basic is for sale
Which has nothing with it so where can you buy the set . It was supposed to be revised so when
Where is the drill bit from at 16min ? What’s the diameter please @festool
Thank you so much for the shout out. The information you put out is so helpful and your costumer service is outstanding. The festool system has made a huge change in my woodworking business. Thank you.
Going cordless on your recommendations I’ve gotten both those can’t wait to use them. Like all other Festool products they certainly have a quality feel right out of the box.
All the best, Chuck
P. S. Sedge, whatever you’re eating, drinking, or even smoking, hook a brother up because I want some! 😜
These drills seem under powered for what he is demoing. If you do concrete, Hilti can't be beat.
@@jimdiet8534 I've tried mine and without a side by side I'd say it performs very well. I used to drop 7/8" holes into 4" plus concrete years ago with a large 110v Bosch rotary hammer drill, (quite a beast) it isn't up to that of course, but for a cordless I'm impressed. I'm sure a Hilti Cordless rotary hammer TE 6-22 (or similar) is a great tool as well. I'm familiar with Hilti tools as I worked in the refinery business for 30yrs and they are a mainstay brand in the industry.
All the Best, Chuck
Appreciate these videos. Very helpful!
hi guys from Oxford uk
CW says high from San Dimas CA
Crystal Lake, IL says hi!!!
Unrelated comment to today’s topic I just purchased the Kapex combo is there a dust cover for this tool.
It's a saw. Why does it need a dust cover?
@@olafbigandglad for the same reason I use a dust collector to keep my investment clean, that’s all.
