- Here's the long-overdue update on my HOn3 Rio Grande Southern First District model railroad as of November 2023! I also threw in a few run-bys and a teaser for a new project.

I stopped by to see your layout during the narrow gauge convention. It was neat to see other Colorado Springs modelers hosting during the convention. Layout looks awesome and I look forward to seeing your work in HOn30.

Yep, I know... I've been talking to Mike about it. He plans to do both the Vance Jct and the Rico pockets. Maybe by this summer. In the meantime, I've built the Lizard Head snowshed. Will do a video about that soon.

Dave, what is the overall size of the layout? Don’t think I’ve ever heard it mentioned.
It came up a lot in my early videos, but it's 12 feet by 14 feet.

@@vollmerdp FYI, I spent 3 years working at USAFA doing summer cadet programs. Used to work with weather for the folks during Global Engagement. Can't remember if we did that with USAFA or with Peterson. Been a while.
