My sons and I would patrol the steep hills near home when it snowed. We had a lot of fun helping people in what ever way we could. If we'd have had one of those mega military surplus vehicles we would have had a lot more fun.

Literally thousands of cars got stuck. I usually help people but I knew as soon as I pulled 1 person out 10 other people would ask for help quick. I pulled out quite a few and got on out because that would of been a nightmare the next day just like that. Def get you a windshield mount for camera but great video, editing is improving so much. Great job.

The Reason your 3 Speed Shifter isnt working for a 2 Speed is simple the throw is devided by three so it makes Smaller movements to go to the next gear the Power Glide has a longer gear Throw because there is Only 2 so drill a Hole below the current it will move more as you get closer to the pivot point
Was cool to see you out there brother. I pulled a 30’ camper in with my 2wd Cummins all the way to camp Friday night and all the way out Sunday morning never got stuck.. just need a little more throttle lol

That truck has some hidden gems...it has central tire inflation system...air those puppies down from the control box by the driver knee and...under the tailgate there should be a stow away ladder to access the bed...

My buddies boss brought his range rover to down south offroad and he went everywhere my buddies lifted jeep on 35s went and he had street tires. They are very capable vehicles.
Now that you got a taste of military truck life you need to sell both of them and upgrade to a big boi 8x8. Those things are wild. Watch some competition videos of them.
I have experienced the same thing on more than one transmission and every time it was a front pump issue except one it involves a torque converter issue along with the front pump
Ya likely know this... but the tires on the MTV.... not good reputation on road... some call them "May Pops" Some call them "Will Pops" fine for the mud.... not so much so for road trips. Get some MTV's for that.

The recoveries where a good addition to the channel. Ol 6x6 is pretty capable, put in lots of work and no problems
