    The actor playing the captain was perfect - commanding, charming, and with the requisite swagger needed for the part.

    I started watching these episodes with 'The Holiest Thing'. Now I'm watching anything Star Trek as it's served up by youTube. I'm the type of fan, who from the very beginning pretty much inhaled everything Star Trek, I had it bad... I had t-shirts, a phazer, communicators, a scanner and chest pins and many models hanging in my 1970s bedroom at home with mom and dad, the good old days haha! I am glad to find, just very recently too, ALL these Star Trek fan made shows and movies and WOW, hats off for all your hard work and I for one truly appreciate it. I don't know if you're making more, but if you are, and if I can I'll gladly donate. But it won't be crazy soon as I have a broken back and things are just not the greatest at the moment financially but things will get better, I'm a survivor!
    Peace.

      Thanks, appreciate it. New guidelines set by CBS make it difficult to continue our story, but we are happy to have had the chance to play in Roddenberry's sand box.

    You guys are either really, really intuitive or you did some real research in Trek lore. The thought to store the Andorian in a transporter pattern buffer is reminiscent of when Scotty was discovered in the Dyson sphere of ST: TNG. He used almost the EXACT same idea! Great nod to the original cast!!

    At first I was like "OK, another nice fan production". But after a while I started to like the crew, all these characters. I got familiar with them, like when you want to see more. It's the effect when a show is real good. They need their own starship, like "USS Excalibur" or such. Sistership of the Enterprise. I wish CBS would pick you guys up to create some seasons of your show. Because it has the potential of a quality show.

    Very well done. Love the cast, the filming, the writing, and pacing. Wonderful effects too. I personally was very relieved and happy Jones was 'just' insane and not Section 31. I hope there is more to come. Kudos to cast and crew making both parts one and two.

    Most of these fan fiction things suck pretty hard, but I was pleasantly surprised with this. The SFX aren't as good as some, but I like the on location stuff and there are a lot of actors, all of whom have the ability to convince me most of the time. Well done.

    Thanks for making this film. I love the opening of Enterprise in space dock and your flybys.
    The uniforms and props were spot on. It was cool seeing the TOS Phaser Rifle in action.
    You have to love a woman who can shoot like that.
    Best Shuttle dogfight ever filmed. Your choice for Captain was a good one. It seems he has the Shatner clause in his contract.
    Every other trip to an alien planet he gets to tear his shirt. I really liked the writing too.
    Some of the other acting was a bit uneven but you know what....I didn't care. You could see they all were putting their hearts into the roles. I admire the people who made this did not give all that acting roles to just the fans who had done a lot of local dinner theater and spend the rest of their free time working out at a gym. And yes many of us trek fans are a little thick in certain places. I would make a great Pakled.
    I subbed and liked and will go back to see what I missed.

    This one is probably more relevant to something on Memory-a, but: If cloaking technology makes it so that no radiation of yours can get through it's field so that nobody can see in, how the hell can you see out? How do you make an energy field retroreflective so that you don't obscure the stars around you in a complete sphere? Meh. WTF. It's Star Trek. They can do anything!

    My biggest problem with episode one was the sound quality. I don't hear well at best, and the sound was such that several times I couldn't tell at all what was being said -- the background rumbling and music severely overpowered the voices. Any other short-comings I can shrug off as being a fan-based film, and I LOVE the idea of that being available to all us fans!!! In my day, it was fanzines; today we have fanvids, which I know are much harder to conceive and take lots of time and money to make. So thanks for the new Trek!! Any improvements to the audio will be GREATLY appreciated, from those of us who already have hearing probs. (: LL&P

    • @CraigSheelerSheelerStudios
      @CraigSheelerSheelerStudios  8 лет назад +5

      Andorians are humanoid but closer to an insect than human. According to shows "United" ENT they are more susceptible to Phase Pulse infection. Doctor Leonard McCoy mentioned that Andorians must rely on intermuscular injections - indicating the likelihood that their circulatory system is different. "Whom Gods Destroy" TOS and "Proving Ground: ENT Additionally according to Michael and Denise Okuda's reference guide - Andorians also possess a unique Lysosomal Enzyme in their blue blood. The Ships Doctor may not specifically carry a supply of this for s simple negotiation mission. This is why the Doctor could not do much more for her without "proper equipment and this enzyme. This along with the fact that Andorians are more susceptible to phaser injuries.

I did a lot of research during the scripting process of this series and I will say becoming a 'Trekpert' came with the passion and desire to give adequate reason for our choices. I noticed the audio issues of 01 were gone in 02, and I applaud you. :) As mentioned above, the production is not as elaborate or refined as Star Trek Continues or New Voyages, but you did the best you could with what you had. I can honestly say this: I ENJOYED WATCHING! :) That is the goal, right? :) Mission: Accomplished! Too bad things went the way they did, and you can no longer continue this story. :'( Thank you for adding to the library of Fan Films. :) LLAP! :)

    A better than average fan flick and I've seen several. It seems you are falling back on the Voyager premise of being alone and trying to reconnect with starfleet. OK but they had a ship YOU guys just have a shuttle.

      Would have been fun to watch the crew slowly evolve and upgrade the shuttle and there travel plans as an episodic series before the shuttle down of fan films. Thanks for your words.

    Very good considering the very limited budget. ST: D, well I bailed out before the first act finished. Four Stars and Not Rubbish. a pity there may be no more; I think between them Paramount and CBS have wrecked Trek. When there are several fan series, at the least, better than the official product and they have been Star Wrekked also, what's left are zombies, animated corpses devouring our brains!

    The tattoo on Ms T'vas's forearm, does it happen to be a real tattoo on Mo Stones that was incorporated into the script? Thanks!

    Mercer? Isn't that the captains name on The Orville? Seth is a great Star Trek fan.

      Our adventure was written and filmed 2010-2013 way before Orville (perhaps Seth was a fan of us as well).

    Hello those shuttles of that design never went faster than impulse. It was equiped w/a type 3 impulse module according to th Star Fleet Manual (circa 1973).

    • @CraigSheelerSheelerStudios
      @CraigSheelerSheelerStudios  8 лет назад +4

      +John Toothill Jr. While we would agree with the Starfleet manual is a set of standards it is not a complete listing of all things. Several sources indicate space-warp capability on Shuttle-craft class F. We also contend that the shuttle-craft has nacelles which would only be needed for warp drive (you can have impulse without nacelles). In the TOS episode "Metamorphoses" the entity (traveling at warp speed) approaches and stays with the shuttle. In the episode "The Menagerie" The Enterprises departs at warp speed and the shuttle reportedly almost catches up with them. While this may or may not prove the use of warp drives on shuttles our episodes take place after the 5 year mission with the Galileo II and we feel it would certainly have been upgraded with limited space-warp capability. These reference are fairly solid.
