Key learnings :
1. Parikshit Maharaj was able to notice that Kali was beating cow and Bull. So he took his sword to punish Kali and before that he was inquiring to Bull for the cause of suffering. Bull replied like some says due to
Karma
Kaala
Svabhava
Daiva
Grahas
2. Bull added that it is beyond the ability of human being to comprehend or to describe about who is the cause of one's own suffering? Indirectly Bull says Lord Krishna. ( we cannot figure it out for the cause of suffering)
3. Mature devotee never points out someone is the cause of their sufferings . If we say that then we are not matured yet.
4. It is not incorrect to say that Karma or Kaala is the cause of sufferings but it is incomplete. Because ultimate cause of all causes is Lord Krishna. Lord has created the cycle of Karma. Krishna sanctioned my suffering in response to my own misdeeds
5. When we are eager to take credit for happiness then why cannot we eager to accept for the distress. If happiness comes from hardwork and distress also comes from hard work.
6. We are responsible for our own sufferings sanctioned by Lord Krishna who is the ultimate cause of happiness and distress
7. When we follow the instructions of Lord Krishna which are described in the scriptures then we have only happiness
8. Three instructions given by Mother Surichi to Dhruva Maharaj are
a. Don't desire harm for anyone who caused harm to you
b. We are suffering because of our own Karma
c. Whatever you may desire take shelter of Lord Krishna
9. When we desired to be punished for the mistakes done then we will be relieved from the reactions of the mistakes
10.finally let's welcome the reversal of life by accepting it whenever it comes automatically with sanctioned of Lord

I have been trying to follow all the teachings from the iskon Acharyas and thought I am getting better and stronger from my mind. But the election results made me come back to my normal depressed state. The fear of where our country is headed and the old images of all the injustice and unfairness of the previous governments have landed me in a very bad state. People around me are also emanating the same kind of hopeless feelings.
Please tell us how to stop feeling low in such situations that are not very personal but can impact the entire country.
