Well done Percy👍 Lots of flushes and wonderful retrieves! Good to see Ted working the birds hard as well. Thanks for the video ... I miss hearing the cackle of the cockbirds. I'm doing a bit of binge watching to catch up with the end of your season. It's bittersweet to be watching this. My Max (German Shorthaired pointer) passed away March of 2020. Take care Nick.

You must be so proud of Percy, all the hard work put in has shown in this wonderful young dog. At least now you will be able to relax a bit more on next outing. 🐶🐶🐶🐶

Gotta say, NIck - it's like Christmas when I see that you're posting vids of the new season! Looking forward to watching many more. Had to laugh when you whistled too hard when that deer came out. Great dog work as always.

What whistle do you use Nick?
    Another great video.

Hi Dana I use two whistles depending on the cover, I use an Acme 210.5 when the cover is thick or I am handling the dog out on a longer retrieve (this is a bit louder) and I use an Acme Silent whislte when the dog is hunting closer and in shorter cover…hope this helps. Cheers Nick

Thanks for your comments….just to clarify that first bird and had been pricked by one of the other Guns and as is correct etiquette I took my shot to prevent us from losing the bird. Cheers Nick
