    Thank you so much Carolina for another wonderful tutorial. A beautiful sweater pattern and, as always, your clear instructions make it easy to follow for a novis knitter like me. I am so happy that the sweater is knitted on straight needles and not circulars!! 😊 😃
    Can't wait to try it out!
    A special thank you for everything you do for your subscribers, your time, effort and kindness is always appreciated 💖

    Thank you so much. This video must have taken a long time to make and I thank you for your hard work. I'm looking forward to having a go at making this. I am not a confident or particularly good knitter but your instructions are so clear and so well done that I feel I will be able to achieve this. You are an excellent teacher

    I love how you explain so clearly and make it less complicated,.On 6:58 when you add white color there is a line of white on the other side that looks ungainly. Is there another way to add a newer color that does not add that extra line. On a scarf that would not look nice.

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you! I’m afraid there isn’t. Every time you change colors, it’s going to look good on the right side, and not so good on the wrong side. A way to avoid that is using the Double Knitting Technique, where you have 2 right sides facing all the time.

    This is awesome! 👍 Thanks for sharing it. I still wan to know what stitches are used in between the garter stites on your teal sweater that you showed a swatch of in the lace knit tutorial. I'll go back there to comment again. Thanks!♥️

    Hi. What do you suggest when your bust measurement is larger than your hip measurement? Do suggest increasing stitches waist to bust or something more complex like bust darts? Thanks for your videos and website. They are great 😀

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  Год назад +1

      Hi Sue, good question! For this type of sweater, I’d increase from waist to bust. Thank you for your lovely comment 🥰

    Hello. This seems like a good pattern to start with. I only have 6 mm needles. Would they still work?

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  Год назад

      Hello, no problem. Choose a nice yarn (it could be wool, cotton, or blends), and knit your swatch. If you like it, go ahead 😉

    The instructions for knitting the first part panel-is that repeated so there is a back panel as well? How do those pieces get connected?

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  9 месяцев назад

      Exactly. Just watch the video till the end

  • @mariama8995

    when we cast on the 13 extra stitches doesnt that make the two sides uneven? since we are knitting one row on the new stitches before casting on the new stitches on the other side

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  8 месяцев назад +1

      That’s the way knitting goes. But not to worry, it will be “compensated” as both parts, front and back are sewn 😉

    • @mariama8995
      @mariama8995 8 месяцев назад

      @@sowoolly do we take an extra row from the long side when joining the front and back panel? Do you understand what I mean?

  • @cperl13
    @cperl13 8 месяцев назад

    After the rows where we cast on our extra stitches and work the 2x2 rib stitch-do you alternate rows K2P2 then P2K2? If the last row I did was the same as yours (P2K2) so I keep that pattern or alternate which starts first? Does this make sense?

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  8 месяцев назад

      To get the rib stitch, the wrong side rows are the opposite of the right side rows. Or yet easier, always knit the knits and purl the purls 😉

      I’m sorry to hear that. What seems to be the problem?

    • @toboh8840
      @toboh8840 9 месяцев назад

      @@sowoolly i'm not really sure. As a beginner i'm a pretty loose knitter, so that makes it inherently messier, but still i follow the 2knit 2purl, keeping the stitches even, and go on 2 knit 2 purl on the next row. A couple rows down, it doesn't have ridges, but bumps here and there. :(

    • @sowoolly

      Follow this tutorial, with just a few stitches (for example 8), and try to get 6 rows: ruclips.net/video/mPljJLWq_tY/видео.htmlsi=_cGdmUNiA-cIRkAp
