Great makes! Please don’t be concerned about the number of makes, you work full time, this is your hobby. AND you make and edit videos, that cuts into available sewing time. You are a talented sewist. Beautiful creations! Great job!
A great sewing year Toni 👍👏🧵 Your wedding dress was gorgeous… Your honeymoon outfits also 💕 My favorite is the top and skirt I think…no, don’t transform it into a bolero 😊 Happy New Year to you, Dan and family… Looking forward to your 2025 Vlogs…so appreciate your channel 😊💕🧵Xxx
All of your clothing represents so many hours of ‘behind the scenes’ tweaking, planning and just getting ready to sew together. I think you have made a great selection of clothing. Congratulations on the wedding too!
You sewed up a storm in 2024. Loved seeing the cat pop in for this video. Yes, on the kimono sew along, you asked about. For your cold….do you have a salt cave nearby that also has a salt booth? If so, book some time in the salt booth (small like an old phone booth) to help with that cold. My hairdresser mentioned it to me when my husband had a sinus issue that just hung on. Surprised, he actually booked a few days and said it helped. Happy New Year!
I love all of the colors and patterns you used this year, and really enjoyed the photos at the end. Hey, the wedding dress(es) took a lot of time! It seems like 2024 was a good year!
Way to go! All items are very nice. Keep up the good work. I would like to see a tutorial on how to gather a ruffle on a skirt. Congratulations on your marriage. Happy New Year
Great job with all the cute clothes! You have done well with working full time, wedding and honeymoon, care for your pets and husband, plus video filming and editing. I have missed you. Happy New Year girlfriend!
Thanks for the great review of your year of sewing. Congratulations on how much you got done!! Quite an amazing amount, especially when you had a wedding to plan. Be kind to yourself! I think you are amazing!
Your makes all came out lovely. You're being too hard on yourself. You've had a busy year with the wedding plans, so considering you had all that going on, you did a fantastic job!! I wish you, your husband, gramma and the rest of your family a peaceful and prosprous New Year! 🙂
I think you had a very ambitious sewing year, especially considering the wedding dress and all the clothes you made for the honeymoon. I would love a video on the serger kimono 👘 jacket !
I think you did a lot. I had a ‘hardly made anything’ year. 2 operations on one eye and a queen sized memory quilt for a friend later, I only made a few tops and that was it. Working 10 hour days, I didn’t have a lot of time left for sewing. So you did great.
Lots of lovely makes! Thanks for sharing. For that last red kimono, just a longshot that maybe you can try to flip the band around and see if it fits that way. I did a similar pattern and struggled along, sewed the band on upside down. I finally figured out I had it upside down. Never would have guessed because that seemed like an impossible fit. 😊😅
Thank you for sharing. I love your makes. You are such an inspiration. Thank you and Happy New Year. Can’t wait to see wait to see what you share in the comic year.
Hello, New subscriber here...I am retired from sewing and altering wedding gowns...and can sew relate that some things just do not work out, I have a pile of them here, you sound down to earth, sweet and human too!
Welcome!! It’s great to have you here! ❤️ I cannot imagine making and altering wedding gowns as a job. Getting one dress to fit was enough for this lifetime.
First of all, cute cat! It was a lot of fun to see what you've done this year. These days, I only get to share online instead of in person. Nobody around here sees clothes. I would have done a stay stitch on all the curved pieces to prevent fraying to begin with. A small straight stitch is all that it takes. I don't sew too many garments but then my projects are often intermediate to advanced level. If I get an "Easy" pattern, I construct it with extra finishes. I often add linings to projects as well. The Ponte knit leggings has me interested as I plan on marking a pair. I also plan on making a pair of trousers from Ponte knit.
Minky likes to make a guest appearance on occasion. I didn’t realize she was in the room until I was editing my video 😹 Thanks for the tip on stay stitching- I was rushing to get my dress done and didn’t even think about it.
The kimono was a measure and tear project; I’ll be doing that video in January. As for the leggings, the pattern was provided by the instructor (her design) and the ponte knit was part of the class cost. She had a wholesale source but didn’t say where.
Toni, Having clothes fit too big is a great problem to have! I'm dying to make B6680. I hope to in 2025. Yours looks great!! I love the geometric circles in the New Look Dress. So retro!! I hope you feel better Toni. Were you able to return the wedding dress that you initially ordered? I watched the whole saga!! Fortunately it worked out beautifully. Those darts installation were a nightmare to watch! I felt your stress! I love all your honeymoon makes!! Great fabric choices. N6347 was a nightmare to make for me too! Took me 4 days!!! Not 1 hour LOL!! I love yours with those blue cowboy boots. Wow! Great M5252 make for Dan! Gorgeous. I made Tom N6197 view A for Christmas. He was impressed too. That sherpa lining looks so cozy. You actually did make A LOT!! Happy New Year Toni!! 🥰🥳🎉
Awww thanks Grace. I was able to return the dress and got all of my money refunded. I’m starting to feel better. Hopefully this cold will be over soon. Thanks SO MUCH for being a guest on my Christmas party livestream. We will have to do it again in 2025! Happy New Year 🎉

Thank you for all the tips and tricks you mentioned. Especially the raveling shantung silk.
You’re welcome! Now I just need to remember my own tip the next time I use shantung!
All of your clothing represents so many hours of ‘behind the scenes’ tweaking, planning and just getting ready to sew together. I think you have made a great selection of clothing. Congratulations on the wedding too!

I'll have to check out a salt booth! Thanks for the tip! 😊 I’m glad you are interested in the kimono project.
I love all of the colors and patterns you used this year, and really enjoyed the photos at the end. Hey, the wedding dress(es) took a lot of time! It seems like 2024 was a good year!
Aww thanks Ellen ❤️ more good things to come next year-for both of us 😉
Congratulations 🎉All of those beautiful things created while working full time, planning a wedding and a dog recovering from surgery! Amazing.
It was definitely a busy year! Thanks Julia❤️
As i recall you also had to leave your home due to storm...you did great this year!
That’s right! I forgot about the hurricane and the citywide power outage for a week!
A busy year for you, well done. I love that you use gorgeous, colourful fabrics.
Maxine, life is too short to sew beige 🤣 I’m glad you appreciate my colorful fabric choices❤️
Way to go! All items are very nice. Keep up the good work. I would like to see a tutorial on how to gather a ruffle on a skirt. Congratulations on your marriage. Happy New Year
Thanks! I’ll be sure to do a ruffle tutorial in the future!

Thanks Jan! The kimono jacket is on the list for 2025!
No apologies cuz you sewed a lot! Nice to decrease sizing as it’s inspiration to create anew. OMG you have a busy life! Happy sewing next year too!

Great makes Toni. I’d love a tutorial on making the kimono jacket!
Thanks Gina! Stay tuned for the kimono video in January 😉

I will definitely try that! Thanks for the tip! That might be the solution!!

You’ve done some great work! This was my first time here! Happy New Year!
Welcome! Thanks for watching and Happy New Year to you too!
Hi Toni! You made a lot of beautiful makes! I wouldn't even need a rack for my makes but I plan on changing that this year! Happy New Year My Friend!❤
Happy New Year Zelda❤️ Thanks for watching. I know you will sew beautiful things in 2025!
Cute items 😊
Thanks!😊

Looks like you still had a busy year! The wedding alone was a lot to work for.
Yes it was!! I am exhausted but so happy with how everything turned out 😊
I would like to see the kimono sew along. I have a brand new serger still in the box 🫣
Let’s get it out and sew a kimono together!! It’s a fun project that will get you inspired to use your serger 😉
@@SewSewLounge looking forward to it. Thank you!
Watching with Elizabeth
Hello!! So glad y’all are watching together❤️
Thanks for sharing. Was there a pattern used for the kimono and black tights ? Where did you get the ponte? I’m on the lookout for some good ponte.
The kimono was a measure and tear project; I’ll be doing that video in January. As for the leggings, the pattern was provided by the instructor (her design) and the ponte knit was part of the class cost. She had a wholesale source but didn’t say where.

@@SewSewLounge Happy New Year Toni! 🥳🎉
I like your video but would be even better if you took a photo of yourself in the clothes
Edit: Oh no you’re sick 😢
Yes in years past I put everything on but I didn’t have the energy this time. Plus I’m still sick with this stupid head cold 😢
@ I’m so sorry, me too. Sick in bed binge-watching sewing videos 😛
