From one point of view it's understandable if you have any idea about the mechanics of the music industry. This is not a hugely popular band and they would all be making a modest living. Recording studios and engineers cost money. Recording contracts have always been diabolically skewed in favor of making maximum money for the label and screwing the artists. Then there are promotional costs the artist has to pay. And how many people are actually going to pay for the recording these days? That being said, from another point of view people are making amazing sounding albums in their bedroom and quality recording equipment has never been cheaper. And half the instrumentation (drums/bass/synths) are digital/in the box. To me the happy medium between a professionally recorded and released album versus live bootleg phone recordings would be for them to at least do a good recording of their rehearsals and Von can redo some of his vocals if he's not happy with them. At least release 'rehearsal tapes' which will be much better quality than the bootleg phone recordings.

Am suspecting this dude was not a member from the Sisters back when they wrote amazing songs and performed accordingly at concerts. That's an era that is long gone.

I wonder if Ben knows, at Slimelight around the end of the 90s, start of the 00s, we used to dance a conga to "This Corrosion"?

I love that Ben never liked This Corrosion - I never liked it. I would still listen to it over many other pop songs. Great video.

Ben seems like a really decent down to earth guy.
Feel kinda sorry for him being stuck with Andrew. Lost interest in The Sisters years ago due to their lack of Respect for their fan base.
Wonder what wine shop he worked at!?? 🧐
strange audition process. Think i would of told Eldritch to Sod off!! Last time I saw The Sisters it was very much a car crash so vowed never to see them again!! 😂

Andrew can no longer sing. He is just a chain smoking figurehead, desperately, jealously clinging to his last sucessful franchise. The shows are devoid of any semblance, or even the residue, of the energy, inevitability and momentum left from the late 80s. It is just a sad, disappointing, ever fading, memory.

Yeah…to be fair, Andrew has admitted himself that he is kind of a perfectionist, and he does seem extremely reserved and protective of himself to the point where he is closed off from everyone.
I’ve always felt that if Andrew were to step down from the band at some point, Ben should take over as the frontman.
Got into the band when I was 11. Would have loved to have seen them live in their prime in the 80’s/90’s, but I cannot do that since I was born in 1999, so it’s something really out of my control.
