Hey, how about a fashion show with elegant, flattering clothes that make women look like a million dollars? There’s nothing really revolutionary, earth-shattering, or shocking-except for the opening models walking down the staircase in towering heels that make them look impossibly tall, like statues, but this show is the definition of refined and elegant beauty.
This is called High fashion. If you want elegant, more flattering clothes. I’m sure you can find a macys? 😭

I loved the F/W 2023-24 show. I loved the colors and beauty of it all. When you use one color, you run the risk of everything looking very similar - one look blending into another. Also, where are all of the great models i have come to expect? Imaan? Maria Borges? Adut? They make the clothes pop. I have loved Valentino for many seasons but it may be time to infuse some new creativity and by that I mean bringing new talents on board to work with Pierpaolo, creatives that understand and embrace the past without going too far into the future. I'd like to see that. Please don't hate me, as it is just my humble opinion on a topic too lofty for me.
I stand corrected it was haute couture F/W 2021-2022 that I failed to reference in my previous comment. Again, sorry.

My favourite colour is black.
Luxury for the wealthy widow who hasn't got the time or the patience to stand around being measured up for haute couture. Everything's gone black, so pay attention to the textures: the smooth and the crunchy, the matte and the shiny. Totally delicious.

Making models come down the stairs in 10 inch heels is abuse. Black clothes do not show details well. Exposing skin under sheer fabric has become the norm so I’d say these clothes are in conservative elegance category.
