I'm making a new video comparing DLSS 4 with moving scenes! I'll be uploading it soon! New video available in motion scenes ruclips.net/video/zmYWPsEYrEQ/видео.html
Transformer model is WILD. Performance is better than old Quality now lol. So you can have better quality and way more frames, just from the new transformer version of DLSS, and applies to ALL RTX cards. What a time to be alive.
The fact that all the comparisons have been static loses a bit the sense of comparing both models, since it gives time to accumulate enough information from multiple identical frames to both models to achieve an image without showing so many upscaling errors. On the other hand, and since I have already tested the new model (preset J) I can attest that it looks better in certain aspects than the previous models (preset E/F) but still failing in details such as vegetation that shows shimering compared to previous models, in general, it is a good advance that comes hand in hand with a reduction in performance depending on how fast and how modern your gpu is.
it's from a moving camera from the benchmark - their is nothing static about the shot - you can argue that it's using temporal but using the word static is inaccurate
FPS in 4K DLSS 3.8.10 Ultra Performance + FG = FPS in 4K DLSS 4.0 Ultra Performance + FG. In all presets, version 4 has a decrease in fps compared to version 3. But not with ultra performance. It turns out that when you turn on ultra performance in version 4, the preset that worked in version 3 is turned on?
Literally the one simple test which mostly incompetent "reviewers" couldn't provide. Thank you!!! Also strange that you get less fps and more vram usage with dlss4 FG, should be less vram and more fps like nvida said and here ruclips.net/video/9-WkBTfcQWU/видео.html
I really don't know what happened with more vram and less fps but I saw people reporting that there was also a loss... could it be the Nvidia private driver that Reviews are using? I used the original Steam Cyberpunk to test and the 566.45 hotfix driver which fixes some issues I was having in games. I don't really know what happened to the fps loss
@@GameTailsTech Yes, there's official dlss4 driver support coming on 50 series release in few days, be sure to try them out and post results if you can.
These comparisons really mean very little with still frames. These techniques converge to ground truth over time, same as good TAA, but the real test is in-motion. While in motion there are disocclusions and also any animated texture which will lack motion vectors for that animation etc. DLSS is way better than FSR handling both of these (disocclusions and lack of motion vectors) but still you cannot expect the same kind of convergence as in these examples because error accumulates over time in motion and for disoccluded parts you simple lack previous frame information...
@@fpshooterful if i understand this video correctly there is no frame gen used. It is comparing new upscaler model to the old one. So you get more frame rate and lower latency.
alguien seria tan amable de subir y pasar el link del archivo de dlss que pesa unos 40mb tengo la version pirata y por alguna razon el update no incluye ese activo y no aparece la opcion de dlss en el juego, es el nvngx_dlss.dll

Good job 👌 Love it to See . Yes IT will by real interesst whats going in with moving pictures

Exactly!! The result of this new DLSS is incredible
Plus, TR model just came out literally, it will be surely improved even more in future.
Great video! Even DLSS Performance looks so good now!
Thank you very much! I will soon be uploading another DLSS 4 video with moving scenes.
This is exactly the kind of comparison I was looking for!!
You are welcome!
dlss4 performance better than 3.8 quality ☠
native too. but remember this is when not moving. the whole issue with upscaling is ghosting and blurriness when moving
@@MirrorReaper DLSS 4 does seem to reduce motion blur and disocclusion artifacts by like, 80% compared to 3.8 from my testing.
You made the best comparison among all, thank you
thx for the video, just what i was looking for.
You are welcome!

But this is a screenshot, not a still image rendering in real time.
Was looking for someone to talk some sense. These still images are pretty much meaningless.

The second video I was making will be released today
In this new video there is a comparison with things moving
What if you applied sharpening to the native image like they have done with the transformer model?
dlss 4 performance looks better than native, when not in motion anyways.

DLSS Performance is goat
Thank you very much! I will soon be uploading another DLSS 4 video with moving scenes.
So now the new performance is better than native? At least in a still picture. How is it when moving?
Fantastic!! a lot less ghosting
Quality is crispier than Native
what is the music? so good bro

@@GameTailsTech thanks!
lol. This music could be from my grandma's times...

I am glad i bought an nvidia gpu over amd
Which is the resolution?

this "native" is with TAA... right?
Yes
New video available in motion scenes with DLAA/TAA

@ no wonder DLSSQuality looks better than TAA native then... thanks for video, im going to test it myself in metro exodus EE
Wow😮
DLSS 4.0 Tá incrivel!
DLSS for the win meu amigo!
Vencemos completamente! o DLSS 4.0 tá com melhor qualidade ainda!
Why does noone test dlaa it by far looks the best

Well you can conclude that DLSS 4.0 is better looking with a still frame than the others

Still images is great. But, how is the latency?
This is upscaling no frame gen soo no latency hit
latency will be lower cuz upscaling makes the framerate higher
@@slopedarmor ?? From the benchmarks i have been watching. It seems the latency goes way higher with framegen on.

Great idea but done in a bad spot :)
