Nice video mate! Its nice that other people can see what an medical looks like 😀 I was doing my first medical too this year, I'm from Czech Republic and the medical was pretty much the same there😀 Mine doctor was general in the army I think and it was a great guy too 😀 and now I'm doing an SPL license for gliders😀 Good luck and have a safe flights!
I'm trying to start flight school but my dad hasn't booked a lesson yet, the only thing I've done is a discovery flight. He did sign me up for it, but hasn't booked a lesson yet. Crossing my fingers we can.
Good luck buddy! Best thing to get a summer job and save up to bulk buy lessons (only at responsible and trusted schools) and then you’ll save money in the long run, good luck!
my dude hasn't had a lot of experiences I've heard. You're really young so that's probably why, hopefully you won't go thru anything difficult later. Do you play DCS btw?
@@PilotStudd You said in the video that you haven't been to the hospital yet (luckely!) etc. And that's not to say you should, I'm happy you haven't or haden't yet. For a pilot going to the hospital doesn't mean much good! I've been to the hospital to get my apendix removed when I was younger than you were on this video so I wasn't so lucky :'( (maybe i'm a tiny bit jealouse! haha) I've been thru a lot more now that I'm 24 tho but that's just one of my hospital experiences when I was younger than you are now.
Congrats on your medical , If I could offer 1 advice , Make every provision to ensure that you can complete your PPL in the 1st attempt , pausing only adds to increasing the cost , and spending precious hours in review
Apologies for the wind noise and poor audio quality in the middle, it is hard to get clean audio at an international airport! ;)
A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step - you're on your way!
Congratulations you’ll love the lessons they’re very fun and the flight sims really help
Can't wait!
Nice! I live close to Norwich and have done some flight theory there and went on a decommissioned 737.
Congratulations! Your on your way. Your going to crush your training.

Any information about diabetes? I don't have it but it is just a fear of mines.
Did you say 600-700 pounds for a Class 1 physical? I pay 150 USD for a class 1 here in the States.
That’s the beauty of the USA! Only a few providers here in the UK, so they certainly push the prices up :(
Good stuff, mate! Are you going to put up some of your lessons?
I certainly am, hopefully most of them up to getting my licence :)
Well done!!!
Thanks!
congrats on your medical , what stage are you at with your dual training ?

Hi, how did you book your exam? online or did you have to call there? is there a long waiting time?
ps: Love your videos ;)
Hi, I booked it by calling up and then registering with the CAA online (it can be done via telephone), a waiting time of a fortnight for me!
Address of the medical centre?
After you succed with your PPL are you going further like for ATPL or do you stop there?
Hopefully going to go for my ATPL, but this needs to be done first! :)

Thanks for the advice, I’ll try my best and more! Don’t want to be paying anymore then I need to be 😂
Friend wanted to be a pilot for so long, but got scoliosis. Think he can become a pilot still or should he change career?
It may not matter too much if he's going into it for private flying/leisure. Speak to an AME or doctor if you can!
How. Old are you?¹
Good job, even though idek what ppl means
OH its private pilots liscence im an idiot
Live your dream mate
