I got me the Marin, I think she look very nice. She probably won't be the only Marin scale I get, I do intend to get at least one in cosplay. Luckily, it seems there are a ton planned. That is a lot of Miku.... as someone who prefers Luka, we need more Luka!

How do you keep dust from all these figures? I know that one can easily brush dust off figures with make up brushes, but I mean do you use brush sealing strips on detolfs or air purifiers inside the room? I hate to clean up the dust on the detolfs shelves, do these actually work?
I think the Marin figure...it's her smile. It's based more on her manga drawing style and not the anime. But I love it too. Jabami Yumeko bunny is terrible lol

note about the idolmaster figure you have po'd: in my experience, the aftermarket price of idolmaster figs drops quite a bit, so you'd likely have luck getting her for less than PO price if you decide to cancel it in the end!! loving your POs for the next year :)
I don’t have a lot preordered for next year, but what I do have is expensive 🥲 the Darkness and Yunyun bare leg bunnies, the 1/7 Chinese New Year Miku, and the Megahouse Lelouch and CC set which is MASSIVELY overpriced omg but I missed out on their black rose duo set and I regret it so much 😭😭 all of your oc preorders are gorgeous, I wish I had the space to loosen up my conditions for buying haha
I agree with you on the Marin, I think her face is pretty damn perfect. As someone who has a few resin figures and more on the way, including some for Marin, it definitely exceeds the threshold of "acceptable". If you were to crop the image in on just her face, you'd still be able to tell it's her.
It definitely looks like her I just feel like her smile almost looks forced when she has one of the best looking smiles I’ve seen in anime, almost like she was threatened into smiling for the figure😂

The hoops I jumped through to pre-order the Marin figure were ridiculous...only for her to drop on TOM about a month later. Not that Aitai Kuji isn't reliable but they're slooooooow. And don't allow for cancellations. But I honestly think her face is perfect! It was absolutely perfectly Marin.
I think that the Marin from Aniplex is more in line with the manga than the anime, perhaps that is what throwing off people about the face... Great pre-order list!

I feel like I see people complain about literally every figure's face these days, though. if it's basic it's "boring" and if it's fun and different it's "weird" lol anyway I think my most anticipated figure is one that is HOPEFULLY (!!!) coming out in October! It's the Persona 3 Dancing Aigis by Phat company and she's been delayed over and over and OVERRRRRR (for GS US at least, I've seen other people get theirs TT_TT) if she finally comes out next month that'll be a full year after I preordered her. if she gets delayed again I'll cry like please please just let me finally have her!
I will have to disagree with you on the Marin face something is just off, but I will say the new Marin Bikini figure also from Aniplex looks a lot better! I also think it captures her as a character better!

I will be buying more raita figures, more streetwear figures, l have a diorama for 3 or more hstsune miku figures including the one that has been delayed, my most anticipated bunny is the tan bunny because I have a roller blade collection I will start hopefully soon with currently 5 or 6 figures planned for the diorama, I will have a lot of chinese dress figures, the senran kagura bunny definitely has a dump truck lol, I will have the myethos and other chinese themed figures, I will also have a succubus collection and a nurse figure collection, I will definitely be buying the blue bunny to go with my caroline bunny, I will be starting my cow swimsuit figure collection soon as well and I have seen several figures so I will make a diorama, the shining colors figure is a must buy because she has my favorite style of figure the CAPE COAT ( not having the arms in the sleeves of the shirt or jacket ), I will have a huge racing ver and racing queen collection starting with both of the azur lane 1/4 figures which I will be receiving hopefully soon and I will continue to buy the 1/4 azur lane figures until I have the entire collection and possibly next month will be the 1/4 azur lane coming out of the pool, I will be buying a resin before the end of the year that will cost 600+ from first4figure. Several of the figures you may preorder I am definitely buying especially the bunnies.

My opinion about Marin is that she looks off. But I wouldn't have picked it anyways since I think Marine is a cosplayer and she deserves a figure in something else than her standard school clothes. I think there are some, but I haven't quite yet jumped on buying one.
That idolmaster might not go down in price only because her affiliated game has been shut down. Gacha merch usually starts selling like crazy at end-of-life.
I’m not as big a fan of the school uniform Marin but I ADORE the swimsuit version! I snagged a PO for the swimsuit version and I’m so beyond excited. Idk I just think the swimsuit one has the better face? Can’t put my finger on it but I love her so much. I’m really excited for radio Eva v2 Kaworu! I love him so much I POd both versions lol I’m also so excited for the MDZS scales (Wei Wuxian and then Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji together) I’m sad I still have to wait to January 2024 for the set but it’s worth the wait 🥰
I already have 7 Miku figures(as of this comment) so I don't need any more of her. But I DO want more of the other Vocaloids. Which really bugs me because Japan almost never releases the other Vocaloids, and are way too focused on Miku. Yes I know she's a popular character, but we don't need that much! Give me a new Rin, Len, Luka, Maiko, Kaito, and/or Gumi figure already!
An interesting selection, I only share 2 of those. But I’m off right now to order that racing Miku, she’s divine! Also I’ve got the Lilith (suspicious maid) and of course Marin! I kinda see the issue with Marin’s face, her teeth are too sunk back, makes her cheeks look squirrel like. Can’t be easy converting a 2D face to 3D, I find all the Mai Sakurajima figures seem a bit off too. But it’s still the best Marin out there, and properly official. Personally I don't like marin's face in this figure, for me it doesn't look like her. Some people don't like her mouth and expression, which turned out very "Marin", but I don't like the eyes - they're too small and too high, it makes her face look kinda off. The swimsuit Marin face is absolutely perfect though
Yea I’m seeing so much complaining about l0li characters, its funny I didn’t even know what they were up to a few months ago haha, until I seen loads of drama. But it’s not a real person, they’re fictional manga & anime characters, or lumps of plastic. They don’t even resemble a real person, it’s very obvious that they don’t exist in real life. I just don’t understand all the drama.
I think you missed out hard for the Freeing bunny to match your red one next April (Senran Kagura I think is the series?). The white/blonde bunny with the smug face is one of the best bunnies I've ever seen. I honestly can't even get past her face to appreciate the rest of her. Absolute perfection. Speaking of faces, the Aniplex Marin you got I hate the face of. Her swimsuit version is perfect, but I don't want a swimsuit Marin when there's a normal outfit version. Why are we born to suffer (and buy figures)?

My opinion about Marin is that she looks off. But I wouldn't have picked it anyways since I think Marine is a cosplayer and she deserves a figure in something else than her standard school clothes. I think there are some, but I haven't quite yet jumped on buying one.

I’m not as big a fan of the school uniform Marin but I ADORE the swimsuit version! I snagged a PO for the swimsuit version and I’m so beyond excited. Idk I just think the swimsuit one has the better face? Can’t put my finger on it but I love her so much.

An interesting selection, I only share 2 of those. But I’m off right now to order that racing Miku, she’s divine! Also I’ve got the Lilith (suspicious maid) and of course Marin! I kinda see the issue with Marin’s face, her teeth are too sunk back, makes her cheeks look squirrel like. Can’t be easy converting a 2D face to 3D, I find all the Mai Sakurajima figures seem a bit off too. But it’s still the best Marin out there, and properly official. Not too lewd either as long as displayed from the front 😜 Keep sharing please, it’s great to know there’s like-minded idiots out there! 😂 Oh yeah, that Xmas Chika… time to do some math…

Personally I don't like marin's face in this figure, for me it doesn't look like her. Some people don't like her mouth and expression, which turned out very "Marin", but I don't like the eyes - they're too small and too high, it makes her face look kinda off. The swimsuit Marin face is absolutely perfect though

Yea I’m seeing so much complaining about l0li characters, its funny I didn’t even know what they were up to a few months ago haha, until I seen loads of drama. But it’s not a real person, they’re fictional manga & anime characters, or lumps of plastic. They don’t even resemble a real person, it’s very obvious that they don’t exist in real life. I just don’t understand all the drama.

I think you missed out hard for the Freeing bunny to match your red one next April (Senran Kagura I think is the series?). The white/blonde bunny with the smug face is one of the best bunnies I've ever seen. I honestly can't even get past her face to appreciate the rest of her. Absolute perfection. Speaking of faces, the Aniplex Marin you got I hate the face of. Her swimsuit version is perfect, but I don't want a swimsuit Marin when there's a normal outfit version. Why are we born to suffer (and buy figures)?
