I had an mt07 a few years back and it also had a clicking noise. So noticeable that I put a full system on it to drown it out. I guess it’s a Yamaha thing.
Nothing major to worry about with the ticking. Mine does it from time to time.Lots of social media opinions saying different things. Ultimately if your dealer is anything like mine they’ll sort any issues if there are any. I’ve always found Yams to have bulletproof engines unless folk dick about with them. To crystallise it your bike seems to be like any other 2nd gen MT10. There’s a great FB group for gen 2’s that seems to be on the level for tips and advice.
Dont worry bud , had same worry as you , joined the mt10 forum and every mt10 does it , the question gets asked a lot , they call it the yamaha tick , some people say its the tensioner as it does quiten down after a little while also goes away with revs , but its perfectly normal 😉, as for pulling to the right mine does the same and i have the sp , also asked this question and its totally normal also
Every MT 10, R1 etc has that ticking noise, and according to the forums that pulling to the right is caused by the clutch cable being cable tied to the frame!
Hey mate, it comes and goes but it seems to have settled down a little bit. From all the info I've had apparently it's normal but will keep everyone updated if things change

@The Beast very random comment. Can you provide some context and a timestamp so I can get an idea as to what you're alluding to, so I can clear it up?
