HEY SAMMI! I just got my first Kick Port, kinda figured I had to remove the Res Head and go flat on some cardboard with the exacto knife! My Evans Res Head also came directly from the Custom Logo Company with a 3.5" hole already! Now after watching you video, I've become an expert!
I just got myself the chrome Edition, it's awesome!!!! It Looks great and sounds even better! Now All of my double base drum fills sound the way they're suposed to!
I have this product sitting on my shelf for 5 years now, I still cant get it on without taking the head off! I can get my hand and arm in ok but there is no way to get the rubber seal to snap back against the inside of the head!

Thanks for sharing!!!
If I purchase the remo powerstroke bass drum head that has a 5" hole already cut in it, would that be the ideal size for the kickport?
MAN,I HAVE PROBLEM WITH KICK PORT!!! AND I AM NOT ALONE!!!!! when i install on bass drum, kick port produce some NOISE.....HELPS!!!
Hmm, I never ecperienced this. Might be either loose or it's not tight enough so that it vibrates. It shouldn't make any noise when it's tightened.
Sounds like vibration try pulling the ring closer to the flared end and reinstall
Sounds like an installation problem or a problem with the drum itself. Kickports are solid.
Only it does not snap into place as suggested by the exact cutting instruction which has an adhesive template to go by, still did not work
thank you - helped me with me installation. Best my friend

Same. I just took the front head off and reinstalled it. Impossible this way. 👍
Many thanks
My reso head already has a hole 5 3/8" what size hole is needed?
5 1/4". The instructions say for holes larger than 5 1/4", use a T-ring on each side to size down the hole.
3M stiker for what?urgent.
PAIN IN THE ASS TO INSTALL. RUBBER WON'T BEND BACK THROUGH THE HOLE!!!
Nice.🌺
Et VOILÀ !
Wala
And dont drop the sharpie in the drum.
