That is one of the most beautiful early Sportsters I've ever seen. I don't ever remember seeing an early Sportster that looked quite like this one. You have got something special there.
Congratulations for this cool Sportster (and the nice Car in the background) Wish you all days a good and safe drive... Greetings from Hamburg, Germany
Hey buddy thanks for the video I’m just a little confused 59s had Pan-heads ? I think I’m looking at a Shovel-head ? And that’s a 59 Buick in your garage I think. Again thanks for keeping in touch with us. From a ornery old bastard Who used to ride back in the day a chopped 59 Pan head with a suicide. I still don’t know how we took those Frisco hills drunk young and crazy.
Hi Craig thanks for taking a look. The big bikes like the Duo-Glide had the Pan this is the smaller Sportster they had their own called the Iron head. More compact with the trans built into the engine case.
This is not just a motorcycle, this is an american icon! The new RevMax Sportsters do not live up to this legend
Amazing bike, I love sportsters, congrats!

Nice bike! Those handlebars look a lot better than the buckhorns.
Super cool
Very nice bike. I think they only made like 47 of those XL sportsters of that year.
Hi, I also own a 1959 XLH. It sounds exactly the same.
