- I can't help this time but I can help you avoid cool downs in the future. This method has never been shown however it will show you how to fix the error fast the next time you get it in comp and don't want a cooldown.

Did we need to copy the pak files before or after the update?
Hye D recopy then after each update. Clear your backup folder that you have and then re copy them in. After each update.

Brilliant thank you. I've been getting this error a lot but no other indicator of memory issues. I'll probably end up replacing the RAM anyway as I can't seem to get it to stop. Tried reinstalling csgo also, no change. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyway, thx for the vid.

I don't get any Blue screens, i have SSD Harddisk which i installed cs go on, and my RAMS are 16 GB.... this shit happened to me in a competitive game!!!
the moment i made a new folder and put the files in it.. the error disappeared.. i tried it in casual.

The Game Aid I made this years ago. I haven’t played csgo in years, about a year after I uploaded this I stopped playing. Things could have changed and it seems they have cause I’m getting a few comments this week about it being different for some people.
Verifying game cache files depends on hard drive read speeds not your internet.
I got same problem with Paks but I dont have that Verify integrity of game chache, I got Verify integriti of same files . . I did that and it happens to me again . Please help

Did a memory check, HDD status check. Everything is fine. This error has been such a nightmare.Looked everywhere for the solution in the past two weeks. Still haven't found a solution to this problem. Gonna try the video solution today. Hope it works.:(

Hello sir.. I recently got this error and i got a 7 days cd :( I verified integrity of game files and its showed up all files successfully validated while i'm still getting the error.. and i have got the blue screen error as well 4-5 times these days... so what should i do now?? plz help!!

Abhishek Kumawat the blue screen is prob telling you it’s a memory error which is what causes pak errors yes. In your case run memtest and see if your memory is corrupted.

my friend has that problem and it doesn't show him a pack01_013 or other it shows pak01.vpk and he did like you said and it didn't work
h4rdzen channel that one is in the same location. He just needs to make sure to keep the backup files up to date. As soon as the game updates that thing is not the newest version. So re verify integrity of game cache then back up the pak file again

Nah man just use this if you are not getting blue screens if you get blue screen errors a lot then research getting new ram.

I just got this right now. Deleted the whole PAK thing files. Now i'm downloading a 5gb file.
It only says pak01.vpk. So i don't know what is it! :(

installed on SSD, was playing yesterday no problem, and now this shid happens lost a MM match
@@zombeesama1169 Yeah I had the problem today as well. What I did to fix it was delete the maps and materials folder from my csgo folder and then re verify game files. It worked a treat. If you want a link to the steam discussion I found it in just ask.
