I agree 100%, some people act like they're the only person who matters. And I will say this like I said before, there is 1 race, HUMANS. This subdividing is what caused racism in the first place. We live in the Bay area California. And I get crap from other black women for not being wth a black man. I lost a stupid friend over it.
Surprisely, when we travel to the south. Like Texas and Tennessee. The general public, are polite to us. I thought they were going to get stared and call us names.
But it's oppose. We are treated very well.
But, I think the only reason is because the man in the relationship is white. The authoritative figure is white. I don't agree with it being racist like that. But that's what I've concluded and experiencedwhile visiting the 'South.'
I don't agree with how y'all are treated.
And it's even harder that your woman doesn't understand.
Once I went to a town in California. That was nothing but white hillbillies. While I walked into a restaurant. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me. I was afraid to eat what I ordered after getting hard looks from the waitress. I was afraid the whole time while in the restaurant...
      Take it easy. 🙋🏽‍♀️

In the 1950's, the only black man in our lily white neighborhood was the garbage man who came through with his truck once a week. One day, the five year old daughter of one of our neighbors looked at him and said, "Your face is dirty." Just an innocent kid who had never seen a black person. Her mom said to her, "Honey, you know how all the pretty flowers come in different colors in our garden, and they're all beautiful? Well, people come in lots of colors, too, and they're all beautiful, too." The garbage man told her he had never heard such a wonderful explanation. It has stuck with me all these years. Thanks for expressing your outrage, Vic. Low life weak people embrace racism because it makes them feel superior, when in truth, they're superior to no one.

That's Wright Vic and neither can I. My nephew came to live in the USA from Cuba and after a couple of years of working as a Drummer doing gigs. Going to different states playing in clubs and stages, enjoying the scene and the culture. One day I just asked him how he was doing and how did he like The U.S. so far and what he said surprised me. He said hey uncle I like it fine but why is there so much racism against blacks in this country. I was surprised and embarrassed that even my nephew noticed such a thing, not being here for that long. You see Vic slavery is still the U.S. greatest sin along with the genocide that was done to the native Americans. After so many years, you would think that we could just get along as one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all. Yet till this day we still have those whose bitterness extends boundaries and generations. We can only hope that it isn't and never will be the majority.

We should focus on the administration who asked him to take the pictures down. They should have pushed back on the parents who called in expressing their "concern" about his Facebook posts of him and his wife. No administration should have EVER approached the teacher requesting him to take down those posts. I say the administration is endorsing racism just for the request. If it is an order... then the administration should be investigated for racial bias.

This is why I fight racism whenever i see it.
Back in highschool, there was a guy in one of my classes who was violently racist. He always fought black people after throwing racial slurs at them and threatening them. This guy was always in trouble for it.
He had a swastika tattoo on his arm and he would regularly run down the halls screaming "auf der Heide blut ein kleines bümerlein" and doing the nazi salute.
Everyone hated this guy so much, we decided to sit out of school until the guy was expelled, which didn't happen for a LONG time.
I'm utterly ashamed that the school didn't want to expell him because he had really good grades and was on the football team. We were all fucking enraged that the school let this shit continue for so long before he finally got expelled.
Never knew what happened to the guy afterwards. Last i heard, people were protesting outside his house and he had to move to another state, of which i have no idea. But it's good to see that this fucker is gone from our community now

I believe the words of Dr. Martin Luther King who wishes that his descendants would live in a world where people are judged not by the color of there skin but on the content of their character. I think he was totally correct. However we are not quite there yet. So parents share this message with your kids so that they learn to have respect for all people and pass it on to their own kids. That’s how we beat what’s going on today.

Racism still exists because we still talk about it, some parents still teach it to their young ones, (white, black, blue, yellow) it doesn't matter, racism goes in every direction. Some people are afraid of what is different, so they lash out at it. If we all stopped talking about it, the next generation wouldn't know about it and it would eventually disappear.

Vic I'm glad you brought this topic up, it's so sad this racism stuff, the only people I'm racist towards is stupid people.

I agree with you VIc. Unfortunately in some circles it's good for business. It's been that way for ages, and it's really divisive and pathetic. That principal has a number of options if he's being told to remove a photo so it doesn't cause trouble. Lawsuits for one. Those in his community are treading on pretty thin ice for asking him to do so. I wish him well, his wife too. Their love is their business. Be well.

Vic, great rant. We are same age. The 57 years since the March on Washington was not enough time. Racism is an indelible stain on our country.

I wasn't pissed until I heard this , being from texas it's frocking embarrassing that they would even say something to this principle, it's truly a wonder please don't let the racist continue to pull this crap without being called out

Yes Vic, it's amazing to me also that such behavior still exists today. Absolutely Vic, I agree with your big swing with the head on this one ! I remember a video I was shown several years ago titled, "Eye of the Storm." It was an experiment in 1968 by a third grade teacher, Mrs. Elliot. I think it can be found here on youtube. I encourage everyone to look at it.

It’s a sad, sad country/world Vic. I’m in a biracial relationship for 13.5 years and one really doesn’t know how bad racism truly is unless their significant other is a different race or they truly have friends they can not only hear, but listen to and understand.

Sorry but you're wrong Vic, the story had nothing to do with race, it was the fact that the pictures he put on Facebook were very suggestive sexually and administrators thought it wasn't a good image for children to see as an educator...

I knew there was more to this. Racism is wrong, but I have to search long and steady to find rampant examples. And issues like Jussie Smullet does not help heal any animosity that exists. Media and politics is behind a lot of the discord

Shits sickening honestly. Ive experienced it both sides the coin in my life.. grew up 1 of 5 white kids in an all predominantly african American and Spanish decent school system. I'd get jumped by 6-10 kids for breakfast, lunch and dinner simply because i was a white boy. It was hell. On top of that my racist asf (black) principal would blame me every time and suspend me and punish me every damn time. for getting jumped and called racial slurs. Till one day i had enough, took up boxing and karate and started whooping ass back. (Only when bullied of course) and eventually i gained their respect 1 by 1. Often times those same kids who used to jump me became my best friends untill eventually it stopped all together. Yrs went by and i(as a dirt poor kid) eventually moved to a rich 99% white town/school and witnessed the same racism from the other end of the coin. So i'd always be on my african American friends sides whooping rich spoiled Connecticut asses shoulder to shoulder with my "brothers in arms". Well because...FUCK RACIST SKUMBAGS!! i pray 🙏 that one day very soon we all quit the bs qnd love one another for the beautiful human beings we all are on the inside. Either your a good person or a shitty person, we all bleed red. Enough be enough already its 2021 fer Christ sakes! 🤦‍♂️🙄😠

THANK YOU VIC! THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING ON THIS F-ED UP PROBLEM.
Because this bs still exists. I tells me that chattel slavery could have easily NOT ENDED. Scary thought.
