Hope you get it sorted guys and nothing worse than heating going off. We have plenty of blankets just in case. Getting a diesel heater fitted next week as a back up to the van system. Dave
Cheers Dave, our heating is thankfully okay, as off the 24v system 🍀 everything else is down due to the old battery… now on a campground with electric, until we can sort a new one 🪫
Wonderful seeing your journey through hot and cold and good and bad. You're a credit for what a team can do when you pull together ( mind the pun given you don't have the trailer now !). Hope you get the heating sorted soon. Nothing worse than being cold. Good luck to you all
@@vince54980 cheers, thats nice of you 👍 Haha, yea we hope to get sorted with a trailer as soon as we can… much better being on the road in the same wagon 💯
Thank you so much, it’s nice to know there’s folks out there 🥰 We have moved back onto campgrounds with electric for now, until we get sorted with a new battery 🪫
@VanJourney I only suggested cos almost all think lifepo is best, I use lead carbon batteries, no bms, no heater, no equalizing, no off gas, maintenance is full charge every 30 days, no chance of thermal runaway, and these can discharge 80% only reason I didn't mention before is the weight, 12v 250a is 170lbs.
Haha yea we don’t tend to follow the masses, genuinely thank you though 🙏 And even more so for sharing the info on what you use… digging out paperwork and researching as we write this, it’s looking like we’ll head down the same road, so far making 100% sense, so we’ll see 👍
@VanJourney I haven't seen any build like mine. The awful ideas I got from others , I didn't use, wood stove and outhouse, yeah feed a fire and suit up to pee no ty.

@@bobmonztr cheers for thinking of us 👍
Gonna be honest, we’re not swapping to lithium batteries on our rigs 🚍
