Thanks for being so real with your struggles in Maine. I can't imagine how you kept going through all of that. You are amazing human beings. At every turn, you see beauty, despite the endless rain, mud, water, and rocks. And you pushed through! Thank you for reminding us all to stop and really notice the insects and wildlife.
Oh, the loons! So beautiful. Took me back to Lake Ely in northern Minnesota, in my childhood, when our parents paid us a nickel for every (seemingly gigantic) picnic cup of blueberries we picked for pies. And the slug acrobatics! Sensational.
The underwater shot of the giant leeches was so cool! I remember trying to wash my legs in that pond and then running out of it when I saw how big the leeches were.
I really admire you being able to share all the challenges on trail! I still really can't even comprehend how you all do it. It's exciting to see you so close to the finish line!
You need to be proud of your efforts!! So many hikers bailed out in Maine because of the nonstop rain. You are the few that pushed to the end. Savor your completion…
Maine was so freaking hard! People that haven't made this journey can never understand the mental fortitude it takes to finish in Maine. Loved the emotions! Great video! 🤘🕑
Really enjoyed this and your other videos. It seems like every AT thru hiker gets burned out in Maine! I’ve been following along since I met you guys just north of Daleville - I knew you would make it! Best of luck. - Counselor

Thanks for the video! I don't see how you guys do it. And thanks for all the close-ups of little creatures. You're the best at that.

Yay! I’m so glad you’re posting the final videos again. 2023 seems to have been a tough trail year with all the rain.
