Before the August update I tried my swapped GTO and managed 6.01 and in that run I had an exit unfortunately that cost me a 5.58,5-5.59 Demon swap is faster all around and the torque from lower rpms can make the car go much faster without the lag. It will be a sub 5.52 car or possibly less

How did you avoid the unreadible PP measurement, i did this and had to sell the car because it became the main character and thus was to strong of a car to be raced. I had to sell alot of good classics too because i had turned them into main characters as well.
You didn't have to sell them. Lots of power and racing slick tyres don't go together unless you have downforce. If you don't have a rear wing at the very least, the car can't put its power down, and the game's PP calculation figures that out. Anything that reduces front end grip or increases overall stability will work. Increasing weight will also help.
@@fossilfueled27 Absolutely not. Increasing weight never, ever helps. Not in any situation in the game. It hurts everything. You're just talking out of your ass, and lying. And yes, racing slicks are better no matter the situation. More mechanical grip to the road is more mechanical grip to the road. You're 100% lying. You're trying to suggest that non-racing tires are actually faster.
@@glock22357 At no point did I say less grippy tyres are faster. I said the PP-rating system doesn't like high-powered cars on slick tyres with no downforce. If you can't add downforce, the only ways to get rid of the warning triangle glitch is to add weight and use weaker tyres. However there's plenty of situations where adding ballast is objectively faster. Please stop being nasty for no good reason.

As far as I know, the twin engine Suzuki Pikes Peak cars were older Escudos that used two 4 cylinder engines. I'm pretty certain later 1990's models only used a single V6 engine in the back with a stonking gigantic turbo. Different sources say different things though. You'd like to think that if there was two engines that only had to make 500hp each there'd be less turbo lag.
Yes, it appears that you are right, the original Escudo was equipped with twin 1.6l i4 engines, and was later updated to the single 2.5l v6 that we have in the game.
@@fossilfueled27the twin engine car was called Cultus. We had it at GT1 if I remember correct. It was based off n Suzuki Swift a FWD car and they used 2x 1.6lt engines tuned up to almost 400hp each

I made it - based off a livery from Gran turismo 1. If you look up Gran Turismo 1 and 2 race modifications there's some awesome nostalgia liveries from the old PS1 games
I'm utterly convinced the Escudo engine is a box with a thousand coked-up hamsters on wheels running like their hearts are going to explode...
They take the cocaine at 6500rpm :)
It's a 2.5L twin turbo V6, built by Suzuki, for racing and to destroy the Pikes Peak records for It's time.
Definitely, the hamsters don’t make much torque until they’re all at full stride.
Bro used the Mitsubishi theme from GT1. Instant legend.
The livery is also from GT1 - this wasn't an accident :)
It's awesome ❤
Your insights towards tuning make this game a lot more fun to sit down and test cars.

I had this swap and this car murdered me several times over. Before the update, the turbo lag was measured in days not seconds.
I have way more fun than I should listening to you saying “Mitsuzuki GTScudo”
Big thanks for the video, I'm really looking forward to try the swap myself 🎉

Thank you for the tune settings, now I can drive the GTO again for LeMans.
Ahhh Gran Turismo 1 music 😎
They should add it to gt7 as an option
i love this channel, i need more
Lovely video! You're using my dads old car, minus the escudo engine or course.
And here I was hoping your dad knew someone in the industry and had access to the Escudo engine 😂
I'm jealous. A manual GTO is my dream car.
@fossilfueled27 Sadly he had to sell it, thing couldn't go over 100km before breaking down!

Already nearly done. It came 2nd on my community vote so it was next in line after this GTO. Video releases about this time tomorrow.
Do the integra dc2 engine swap please
You should host some online events sometime. Would be fun.
Awesome
this bro gotta be Thanos with that one hand 😭😭😭
I don't really know what's going on there - there's lots of cars I drive where once I'm in gear 3 the driver animation keeps one hand on the shifter.
