Randy you are absolutely correct on the taking of fuel on a plane. One time in Anchorage, AK we were flying to Kodiak Island for a Deer hunt. At check in the agent took the cap off of our Coleman lantern, turned it upside down and one drop of gas dripped out....We had to leave it behind. For any commercial or public charter you cannot take fuel. If you paid for the whole plane (private charter) you usually can take fuels.
Hey randy I'm from New Mexico and our draw results came out today, it is my first time applying and a got some great hunts I got archery elk in the Gila as well as antelope, and deer, idk what your schedule looks like this year but I'd like to invite you and your cameras on any of these hunts with me just a shot in the dark as this will be my first year.
Thanks for the concern. Unfortunately, my name and address is easy to find so I don't really worry about it. I'm in the Bozeman phone book. I've had groups who don't like my hunting content send my address to thousands of their members. Thanks again. Just not a worry for a guy who is as public as I am. Good luck this year.
Thanks to your question and that of a few others, we shot a RUclips segment on that topic today. Should be up by end of the week. Thanks for the good idea.
Hey Randy what size duffel dry bags and top loading dry bags do you recommend for this particular hunt and do you use a particular make and model? Cheers.
I have all sorts. Sea-to-Summit is probably my most abused ones, but this year I picked up two from Mystery Ranch and one from Simms. They have been working great so far. I have all different sizes.
Still looking for a link. I trust Aaron's opinions on things, but to use Aaron's comment that they are not "hunter friendly" as proof they are anti-hunting doesn't get me there. I suspect there would be a link that can substantiate that. Like Aaron, in the past I've used Primus. They purposefully got out of the hunting business when they bought Brunton and even stated such. I don't think that make them anti-hunting. Thanks for the follow up.
Randy Newberg, Hunter Aron never said they are anti hunting he said they aren't pro hunting. Some of their members hunt but if you ask for a sponsorship its not likely you'll succeed

When you are in Alaska this year can you film using a pulley and other methods of securing your boat? Love when you show "pro tips".
I'll try to remember that.
What type of tarps do you bring and how many? Getting ready for a drop camp hunt on the yukon boarder. Thanks for the tips!
Love the channel! What brand of bug dope do you use? Does it use pine and castor oils or is it deet based?
Randy. What brand of dry bags and dry duffels have you had the best of luck with?
I have many. Sea-to-Summit, Mystery Ranch, Simms, Cabelas, and all seem to work good.
Is that a Gerber or Leatherman multi-tool? I like the quality and reliability of the Leatherman, plus Tim Leatherman invented the multi-tool.
