I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
That's a good review young man! You demonstrated the starting process just as the instructions say to do. There's been a lot of bad reviews on this blower, mainly regarding fuel problems. What people don't realize, is that you shouldn't use ethanol fuel in any 2 cycle engine. Ethanol will trash an engine's fuel lines and gum up the carburetor. That's probably what happened to the one in this video you bought from the guy for $25. I use premixed canned fuel in all my 2 cycle equipment. Non-ethanol gasoline can still be bought at the pump in some places. Use naptha (Zippo Fluid) to clean the air filter, it works great.
I picked one up for 5 bucks at a garage sale. It had the bad gas lines from ethanol. I replaced them, but the carb was bad. Got a new carb and runs like a top. Got a total of 23 dollars into it. Really nice blower for that money
I have used one of these for light commercial duty for about 5 years now with no problems,so long as i do use good fuel and do regular maintenence on it,best thing about this blower is the fact that it was made for the right hand user in mind, most other handheld blowers have the air intake on the inside if you are right handed, not this one, that was part of what sold me,but now in the long run this turned out to be a very good buy.
Thank You for explaining this machine step by step, it helped me a lot. I am looking at reviews on gardening equipment to assist me with the start up of a Lawn Maintenance business. Cheers, Patrick Vella, Melbourne, Australia.
How did you know the carb needed a bit of adjustment? I just bought one of these, and it "seems" to run/blow a bit anemic, if that's the word to use. Maybe it needs a carb "tweak". ?
HarryCo4, which screw will adjust the idle? Brand-new out-of-the-box unit will not stay running on idle? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Love Husqvarna.
Hi Fly By Tire. I have an exact type of blower. I noticed that it was starting to have difficulties accelerating and would kind of gurgle and want to stall. I cleaned the carburetor and checked the fuel lines and filter but it still hesitates when accelerating. I was wondering if it's just the high adjustment on the carb that's not right? What do you think?
Electrical butt connector on end of screwdriver - I didn't think of that one - clever - I tried a 4 mm 6pt. thin walled socket on screws & it Did Not fit over - slightly too small & 4.5 mm was slightly too big . . . . .
Normally You need the special splined socket tool to turn the mixture screws . . . . . " They " ( EPA regulations ) - don't want you tampering with mixture screws which in my opinion is B.S. -

Enjoying The Sun 577-Jersey Customs I honestly think i am jinxed with handheld blowers. The 2 Husqvarnas burned out quick and my Stihl BG 55 needs the spark arrestor cleaned every month and it is less than 1 year old. I like my Hitachi and actually bought another one last month :-)
Let me tell you something; Youbare the idiot. Not him. Some units have poorly designed fuel caps that either leak or will break at the top. So if you're going to shoot your mouth off about something you know nothing about, stop, and just keep it shut. Dim wit.

It amazes me the deals at a garage/yard sale..it’s worth more just in parts alone.

I been owning mine for 10 + years now and still working changed carb , fuel lines ,fuel filter and spark plug once about a year ago. I love it.

I’ll show you a butt connector
HOLY SHIT! how old are you? this is a great review. keep it coming
One of the best instructional videos I have ever seen. Bravo. Keep it simple.
Found one of these on the road. Only sparks every couple of pulls. Gonna change the coil and see what happens
Nice !!!!! Greatly explained !!! I like this blower ! I'll try it out.
Great video young man, just bought one thanks for the review

great vid man keep up the good work!!!
The flat nozzle gives you a higher mph but less cfm. The round gives you more cfm and less mph.
I switched to the round nozzle in leaf season
+ZOMBIE KILLER you're*
Thank you. Great info. Rock 'n' Roll!!!
Great review buddy thanks for doing it

Johnny Appleseed There should be a L by the low screw and a H by the high screw.
Thank you for the fast response!
2:34 *That was Crispy*
That voice crack THO 🤣
Thanks for the info. Very much appreciated!
Nice leaf blower...but the vacuum clogs something terrible.
Wouldn't hurt to have a bigger bag available - it fills up in 60 seconds
Thank you for the video it was very helpful

It's the Low speed screw that needs adjusting - turn it out slightly more .
The screw that's closest to engine - other is Hi- speed screw . . . .
Great review! Thanks!
Strong work 👍
Just bought one then watched your video out of curiosity. Mad I couldnt find one for $25 haha
Ha, wish I could lol
Great video young man thank you.
I got a new one and the thing just bogs at full throttle I need to adjust the carb. Thanks for that screw driver trick

Nice job on the video.
Does it say purge it 10x? Cause that seems like a lot, 3 would be enough in most cases
other leaf blowers run on a battery.... this one has a 28cc 2 stroke engine ...
They must’ve changed it because mine doesn’t have that 7 second switch
Husqvarna owns redmax and they are the same thing
Went through 2 of these in less than 2 years. Not made for even light commercial use.

Got a gas tank huh? Nice. Good lid too. Phew, I was worried about that

anyone tried this for snow? thanks!
I have the same leaf blower
My dad had one just like that but someone stole it.
Damn.
Adjust the throttle using choke? Uh...okay?
What the hell is the fuel? 50:1 or 40:1
Thanks.
he said 50:1
All Husqvarna equipment uses 50:1
my opinion foam filters are absolute trash
loll:DDD
At least get some leafs and put on the drive it meant to be a leaf blower that's point of the video so this gets a tumbs down from me.
just an orange poulan.
Brent Hill incorrect.
clearly you know NOTHING about
a. correct clothing to wear
b. anything about that blower (clearly)
c. anything about a blower in general
TheGunner1212 You are an Idiot . Proper clothing to operate a leaf blower ... LMFAO
