Noble Knight is one of my favorite decks, playstyle and artwork - wise. Its such a pity that the deck was nerfed: Harpies and the widespread use of Book of Moon in the later weeks after the banlist would powercreep the deck naturally, and many decks that needed Balance to have playable hands got nerfed into oblivion with the restrictions placed in the skill. Konami made a very poor game- planning when choosing to hit the skill instead of the deck
I actually liked the Noble Knights. They werent even that strong going into when they were nerfed by power rankings, and didnt use too much disruption. Desperado was much less fun to llay against then.

id disagree its good to hit the skill but the way they hit it was too rough. good example is onomat. how many cards you wanna limit 2 cause of the skill? its obvious the skill is the problem but balance could have been nerfed better
It sucks but Balance had to get nerfed. It was only a matter of time when another, more powerful deck abused it. Hell, Noble Knights abused it to get into Tier 1. And generally, I'm not a fan of decks so heavily reliant on a skill. It was laughable how a skill nerf killed NKs. And I'm glad it did as it allows for more deck creativity imo. Which is why I'm trying to build Onamats in a way where a skill nerf won't deter it as much.
Before watching video prediction!! I don't think it will be nearly as easy imo. My reason is that it relies to heavily on its normal summon, and things nowadays are way to quick so stop that. Also hopefully I'm wrong I got the deck 3 times when it came out and (that was back when I was kinda trash deck build and would always go 30 cards) used all the cards for my deck, minus anything from a box. I didn't get Gwynivere til later. I should preface and say, that also meant I was playing without realizing they were meta, since I didn't do anything besides play in game. And sometimes and rarely go online

nope, when u activate "brother" on normal summon, you can take 2 other noble knights to filled up the field from your hand. and you can attack the opponents with 3 noble knights filled your field only. It has nothing to do with activating the effect of summoning.
Noble knights are such a fun archetype to play. It’s sad that Konami nerfed the skill instead of the deck because I would rather have 2 different weaker play styles than hurting the consistency of the deck especially when this deck relies on normal summoning at the start to get going. This deck should be brought back as it is like an engine (At first it’s slow, but after a while it becomes strong and flexible) where over time you gain advantage kind of like Gaia. Nerfing the skill stopped people from playing meta back row because it hurt the already low consistency of the deck without the skill; meaning that if you do play it with just 20 cards, you have no protection if you get disrupted at the start. Please bring them back Konami if you read this!!

The death of this deck shows one thing to me , the skill is more important than the deck itself because Konami will manipulate your opening hand and the only way to cheat through that is with a broken skill that lets you add the card you need for your combo , if you don't believe me take a look at the strongest decks right now.. Onomats , Gaia , Resonators...
I went from dual level 5 to 15 no loses with Medraut + Arfeudutyr poping battle traps and monsters for a OTK (Merlin and Glory for consistency). I then lost to a guy running Alexandrite Dragon beatdown with a single copy of DNA Surgery ;(
First let me say thank you for that beginner guide for F2P new players super helpful. Now my question is can I still make that noble knights deck in that video and it be good? here I am 1 month later I have a 1 week old account and I built nk as my first deck by getting the structure deck and the guin and brothers and medraut from boxes plus the second merlin and a rank 4 xyz the 1500 atk one from dream tickets with this deck I got to platinum but if u go second and get disrupted it's usually gg otherwise if u start with a merlin or a medraut u can do cool stuff this deck is especially weak vs photons and cards that banish or flip face down u can play around harpies and it's 50% for the rest get some traps that would protect you if u brick for a free turn and this deck is really fun by ur first 4k gems and dream tickets u should have the full deck so any gems u get after u can use to build a fully new deck
This is my first deck, which I built last month and has reached kog twice. Its brickiness is your number one enemy, especially if you're using a 30 card deck.
@@TimothyGod double summon is a -1. doesnt help its limited resources. besides, if your enemy has more than 2 disruptions youre still fucked, which isnt uncommon for most meta decks.

Do you know why if you destroy a noble arms equip spell with parallel twister the noble arms equip spell gets destroyed and not equipped to other noble arms monster as its effect say?
I loved playing against Noble Knights. Not only did I always win to them, but I also just lost against them sometimes and I always loved to see their consistency with the deck.
The way NK got killed with no limited cards is the same way Onamats as we know will go if Konami pulled their heads out of their asses and nerfed their skill. It still pisses me off how they nerfed balance but thought Onomanaplay was healthy. And I'm convinced Onamats would still be a good investment. A decent rank 4 and 6 spam deck that's only gonna get stronger with good XYZ and support. And like Cyber Dragons, their great cards are being gate kept by stupidly busted skills.

Plus a skill that unbricks you and grants you a guaranteed follow up SHOULD have restrctions and shouldn't be used twice per fucking duel. Make players have to make a choice of set up or follow up. Im tired of seeing people defend this nonsense and im talking as someone who has invested and is continuing to invest in Onamats.

And a restriction wouldn't hurt them too much. There's plenty of Number and Utopia monsters to be released and Onamat players can wait for that. The decks been meta closing in on a year now and will continue to see rogue or tiered play in the future. But the skill has to go. No ifs ands or buts. It HAS to go. Its incredibly unhealthy and no amount of underplaying its power will convince me otherwise. Plus with the nerf, comes the possibilty of unnerfing the Onamats cards. Which i would love to see just to see if the deck can stand on its own with a stupidly busted skill.

The deck is absolute garbage dont waste your time ,I have all the cards ever required for NK but it's trash. It was unstoppable before Balance got nerfed, but now you'll just sit their with brick hands .
D/D/D gives you a lot of good stuff if you’re not looking to spend a whole bunch of money and gems. One of those and run down the box with Slime and High King Alexander and Ghengis to fill out most of the cards.

Played on of these aby an hr ago. They went first started with merlin. I just kept fending them off taking 1 of their monster off the field for turn with Canadia, double survivals. Finally got to where they had drystan and I made Brionic and that was game

I played with cydrag against this deck and I destroyed it, I was playing 2nd, as long as you can destroy like 6-7 monsters in 1 turn you can win against this

I started playing Duel link after Balance was nerfed and NK was the first deck I played before switching to Gaia. They’ll always be special to me :)

I add 2 Kite Roid in the deck so if my merlin or medraut disrupt their normal summoned i have kite roid to save my next turn. Is that a good idea?
When you play Merlin a chain always begun with many equip spells that you activated .That ‘s the cause of a very interesting combo ....

The deck is absolute garbage dont waste your time ,I have all the cards ever required for NK but it's trash. It was unstoppable before Balance got nerfed, but now you'll just sit their with brick hands .

You use it with parallel twister to pop any card your opponent controls on your second turn without exposing yourself first

D/D/D gives you a lot of good stuff if you’re not looking to spend a whole bunch of money and gems. One of those and run down the box with Slime and High King Alexander and Ghengis to fill out most of the cards.
Look up f2p D/D/D and it’ll give you a pretty decent deck list to go after.

@@XavierZara I like storm, but it doesn’t help against a bounzer or cyber slash going second. It’s really satisfying to win going second since the deck is so easily disrupted.
