I think they’ve only added his card for the event’s rerun this time, it’s mentioned in the event’s details that he isn’t going to appear in the story. I don’t know why though. I’m only guessing since I wasn’t able to play event the first time it happened
Have you heard of the time loop theory? People say that in some of these events, there's different timeline where other students get invited. Like for example, why does Vil have a card for Firelit Sky event if he wasn't there? And why are there two Halloween events? (I know there's three, but Terror is Trending and Spectral Soiree are connected so I count it as one.) They say it's because in different timelines, different things happen and there is different people involved. The events may not be canon--as Yana claimed in one of the interviews--but it is a wonder as to why the characters had yet to grow a year up.
