Day out with St Austell, Cornwall group 'Waiting for God Boys'. A bunch of riders who have mostly retired but won't give up regular ride outs! Always a good day.
Looking back it's hard to understand just why Lambrettas were the " enemy " back then. I admired and lusted after a Vespa GS, especially one with chrome " bubbles ". However, by the time I could afford one, the GS had been replaced by the "SS ". Still a great scooter and in fact with my GF we went down to the Costa Brava in Spain on it. I lost it after the second time it got nicked and my insurance company called quits on it and that was that!
