What kind of mods did you do to the 044 cases to be able to put the 046 cylinder on it ? The reason I ask is I'm looking at doing the same cylinder mod but with a 046 big bore cylinder and piston
@NothingBut Chainsaws ok so I read that for the 046 piston to clear the case's had to be slightly opened up but apparently that's not needed and the reason I was thinking of going with a 046 big bore was just to give it a little bit more but
Hii Sir,I have a 048 av,I know the cylinder from 042 will fit in it ,but is smaller ,but the 046 has the same size 52mm and the same piston stroke wich is 36mm,what do you think can I put a 046 cylinder on a 48 av?thanks a lot

Don't do a big bore kit, I wouldn't. Honestly just bolted right on!

That is not a 044 case.
