I like the instrumental of this song better and the vocals of the last single more. Also believe they could hang out at those breakdowns a little longer too
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 Wage War is still decently metal with Pressure. Not blueprints or deadweight heavy, but I think they were just exploring a different sound last album. They'll be heavy Wage War again I'm sure
My guess is that the track ends so abruptly because it's gonna flow right into the next track. I've been listening to a lot of Linkin Park lately and they do that a LOT with their records.
Im very sad that Memphis said they dont plan on releasing an Album anytime soon. Instead theyre going to focus on releasing Singles. With Platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, i totally understand why. BUT I WANT A FULL ALBUM OF MEMPHIS SMASH FIRE
@@e-filth9495 i completely understand that. As a person whose all time favourite band is Starset, i know that going in different directions with songs doesn't imply a change of quality. I just find Blood & Water way more enjoyable
Ive known of MMF for a while but never really got into them...but these 2 new songs are FILTHY. I'm a fan now... although that breakdown did give me some blue balls.
I found the instrumental was slightly less muddied here. There was more energy on the chorus and I liked the heavy gang vocal shouts they did. Not really a MMF fan, but I enjoyed it more than the last one.
Interesting tune. I would've preferred the pre-chorus to have full screams and the breakdown to have a heavy round 2, but those riffs were definitely tasty.
The end tag line of the chorus “death inside of me” is exactly the same ending of their song Old Me and it bothers me. Obviously the rhythm is different but it’s pretty damn similar
Yeah nik it is a solid track bro you and I were grooving to this song together omg your right Matty did an awesome screams since their last song they did in their previous video and yeah your right it is from the same settings room since their last video omg very chunky vibe and choruses very kool awesome guitar riffs as well the drums really drives this song woah wtf man I mean this track is way heavier compared to falling in reverse metalcore vibe there man very awesome cool solid metal core track again this song really gets in my head every time I hear this song it’s like an additive song to listen to very awesome banger great job nice reaction nik I think u and I had a lot in common about metalcore track songs indeed you and I both kicked ass at this love u nik 😘
I know the video was released very days ago, but maybe you could raje a look to Empress by Assemble the Chariots. For me, is the metal song of the year.
His delivery on rap part sounds very Hollywood undeadish. Track has a very industrial vibe. Yah solid track all round with many levels. Very much a mix of hybrid styles. Song is a winner! I got no complaints 🎸🤘🏽as far as chorus you can only do your best with the riffs you got. You can’t always force a super strong hook on every track. I feel you though some songs in contrast have stronger hooks or sing along anthems.
Hopefully they have some songs with some different structure like Sleepless Nights to mix it up. Structurally this was a little too familiar to the last one.
*MMF definitely making new FIRE tracks*
Conquer Divide is still waiting for your cover
They left you for more chug :C
@im farting sexy style it was just a sad face, bruh, sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh
I'm just putting this out there more people need to check out in dying arms new track deathwish these guys need some major hype for this song
Yet no one gives a shit what u think
The “I’m not done yet bro” was me the first time listening as well. That breakdown was so fucking good but it needed like 15-30seconds more
"...and bass is...an instrument" 🤣🤣🤣
That line killed me!!
Memphis is angrier than I’ve seen them in a while. Dem hooks doe o.O
I'm all for bands experimenting with their sounds but this is much closer to the mmf I fell in love with. I dig it.
North alantic vibes
@Alex Vanderspek Or if he wanted to be more successful and make money again, so he listened to and actually took fans’ criticisms to heart
I like the instrumental of this song better and the vocals of the last single more. Also believe they could hang out at those breakdowns a little longer too
X2
Yeahhhh the breakdowns are a bit underwhelming so far
the "rapping" vocals on this one sucked lol the rest was good
I love that all the core bands are coming back heavy holy fuck. Thank god the radio music era is over
I was thinking the same.
All we need it asking Alexandria….
@Cloud Incorrect. Parkway Drive, Underoath, and possibly Wage War and Architects too.
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 I mean if you say so man

Map incoming Byte? XP
And it's pretty evident Memphis May Fire likes Linkin Park
I said the same thing
Good for you lmao
If you mean on an album, I heard MMF isn’t doing another album. Only singles and EPs from now on.
This song is fire, listened to it ten times already
Nik reviews:
guitar- yay
drums- also yay
vocals- much good
bass- *IS AN INSTRUMENT*
The frustration I felt from that breakdown finishing too soon has suddenly made me understand why my ex got annoyed with me.
"Bass is an instrument" lmao
Was about to comment the same xD
It is
This song is absolutely FIRE, I love everything of this song 🤘🤘🤘
“Energy Man”… every time I’ve seen Memphis they THROWWWW DOWNNNNN HARD live.
“I’m not done yet bruh”. That’s what she said! 😆
I've been waiting an entire day for this reaction 🤘🤘🤘
Their mixes have always blown me away. Massive sounding
Personally I think the chorus of this song is better than blood and water
31 likes but I have no clue why
repling while its at 69 likes
ummmm
Really impressed with the new mmf, these songs are banging
Im very sad that Memphis said they dont plan on releasing an Album anytime soon. Instead theyre going to focus on releasing Singles. With Platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, i totally understand why. BUT I WANT A FULL ALBUM OF MEMPHIS SMASH FIRE
Albums are pure economical risk my dude. I LOVE albums, love MAKING albums butr...dude, singles keep you going.
Remade in Misery was absolutely fire
Your dream has been answered. All these songs are now in the album "Remade In Misery."
@@NexusKin oh trust me, I’ve been bumpin it
MMF is back and I'm so happy. I still jam This Light I Hold often 🤘
As a guitarist and also bassist im laughing my ass off.
I thought Nik can have a little more appriciation for bss
As a big fan of the hollow, I'm damn happy with this direction
Not as good as Blood & Water, but it's still a great song
I think this is heavier
Even tho cleans are longer
This album will be banger
You honestly have to see that they went for different sounds. With a still struggling meaning, they took different musical direction.
@@e-filth9495 i completely understand that. As a person whose all time favourite band is Starset, i know that going in different directions with songs doesn't imply a change of quality. I just find Blood & Water way more enjoyable
I loved the fact that you got PISSED about the SMASHAROONI being too short.
Gosh, was that funny lmao
That breakdown needed to be much longer man.
Last single was much better for me but the breakdown hit the spot
"Bass is an instrument" -Nik Nocturnal, c.2021
I really want a montage of the detailed reviews of the bass in reactions to songs😭
This series is good shit. Definitely helping me keep up with new music
I need a Nik Nocturnal breakdown reaction compilation asap
Ive known of MMF for a while but never really got into them...but these 2 new songs are FILTHY. I'm a fan now... although that breakdown did give me some blue balls.
Check out their early work. It’s great
React to Edu Falaschi's songs "The Ancestry" or "Face of the Storm". Roberto Barros is his guitarrist, and the guy is amazing.
“ALRITE. Back to the chorus.”
Lmao same dude
*me thinking this all looks too familiar”
nik: “is this the same room as the last video?”
Bass is an instrument! Thanks for the kind words dude. Appreciate it!
I found the instrumental was slightly less muddied here.
There was more energy on the chorus and I liked the heavy gang vocal shouts they did.
Not really a MMF fan, but I enjoyed it more than the last one.
Oh, wait. That band called Amaranthe, they did the same with their song 365 and GG6 and recorded it at the same place lol.
"Uh, and bass is an instrument" made me crack up 🤣 #lovethebass
Interesting tune. I would've preferred the pre-chorus to have full screams and the breakdown to have a heavy round 2, but those riffs were definitely tasty.
Great banger, love the instrumental.
haha that ending, you can never be sure anymore 😁
Let's see where Chapter 03 brings us
Haven't watched it but the new We came as romans dropped tonight!
You gotta listen to We Came as Roman's new dropped song 😱 it's got the chunky!
UNDERØATH dropped a new banger song called DAMN EXCUSES!!!
I call it scrapping (scream rapping)
2nd new track of mmf is banger and then a breakdown so sick
The end tag line of the chorus “death inside of me” is exactly the same ending of their song Old Me and it bothers me. Obviously the rhythm is different but it’s pretty damn similar
At least it’s their own song haha, I also saw the similarity also but I think the rest of chorus is different enough
I can only describe this as djent Papa Roach. And I love it.
this song is a definite groove!!
100% agree needed 8 more bars of breakdown. I liked the chorus more than the versus
Andromida - Celestial
I never pushing people to react something, just listen to this one off camera or whatever, so delicious
"Saving the budget" made me lol. it is a cool set tho
Been waiting for this one
1:17 hey, it’s a neat room :)
Fire is literally in their band name, therefore, it must be a fire track. The laws of metalcore demand it.

'Bass is an instrument'
- Nik Noc 2021
This gave me some 18 visions prime vibes. Bouncy bounce.
Dudes are at there prime new shit jamssssss
I feel like they actually make songs we can 🕺 💃 TOO!
Oh my word guys, Nik pointed at me!!!
Me too!!!😀
Reminds me of later color morale
I like this one better, for the guitars and vocals fit and the second part of the chorus
NIK! I'd love to see you react to Kill The Imposter! Hardcore/Death metal out of Orlando Florida. I think you'll like them!
verses giving me stray from the path vibes
Agree with you 100 percent.
MMF is definitely going back to their roots
This chorus has a big ADTR vibe
If you haven’t already do a reaction to enterprise earth- this hell, my home

ERRA 🥰🥰💞🥰And MMF Is recommended band for future generations 💘💘💘
Memphis May Fire? More like Memphis DEFINITELY Fire
Hi Nick, have you ever heard about My first story, try it. They are really good
(100000 times song, for example)
I approve!
They are also japanese!
You should check out Another Story. another underrated japanese band
Reminds me of The Color Morale.
This felt like The Color Morale gone heavier
Mario May Fire
I get over the "mem fire" at the beginning xDDD
While: The Hollow, never should be re-done, or ever would ever be re-crowned - The sound of Memphis could never-everr be replivated either. 🇸🇪
Damn sounds like they've been listening to this or the apocalypse and HAWK. Damn I wish ricky was featured as a vocalist
Kinda sounds like The Color Morale pretty cool. I miss that band.
Whatever happened to them? Did the break up?
1:59 J-Dog that is you, isn't it?
Hi Nik. Before the video in ads, I saw another group "Oh! The Horror Dead Inside".I sit and think, but where is the reaction ??? Where is Nik?
Oh awesome bro
That Mario killed me 😆
Need to do we came as romans darkbloom!
New underoath let's go nick
Check out the new we came as romans!!
I discover new songs and geups thanks to you🙏
we need Bleed Me Dry, my boi
Got em’ Challenger vibes!!!!
I like it buuut the breakdown was really a bit short. Otherwise, solid 👌😁
Damn I guess I got a new band to look into
Definitely listen to their old stuff :D
Alright bet
Blood and Water the single they released just a bit ago is even better ! Fall down the rabbithole
The Hollow and Challenger are their peak, and Unconditional has many good tracks. Everything after is pretty weak besides these new singles.
Holy shit that still was amazing 🤘🤣
Nic is hilarious 😂 why no reaction to bleed me dry?
Мемфисы вернулись
I also noticed it was the same room lol
WCAR tmr with some new shit
