  • Episode 1 we’re off to where it all started for the Canberra Times Marathon, Australia’s oldest marathon and still one of the biggest on the calendar. Will it be Marnie Ponton on top of the podium on her road to Comrades 2024 and can 40 year old and father of six Matthew Ho make a successful comeback after a 5 year hiatus?

Good video. Please make similar videos with longer duration, say around 15-20 minutes. Thanks.

Wonderful presentation, but the running is slow, slow, slow. The winning time for men is 2:32 and for women it is 2:52. Come on Australia you can do better than these pedestrian, slow times.

Haha. It's a tough course and they had some challenging conditions but it'd be great to see the course record broken next year.

You’re right. It’s not a fast course so sub elites and elites don’t bother coming for it. There’s also very small prize money. No incentive.

@@alexcarrick6540more so the lack of prize money not bringing in the elite runners
