Funny thing is that this is a Christian wedding being hosted in a Jewish family home. I love America
Tony Shalhoub is so good 🥰
The head up the dress😂
I don’t remember Mr. Monk having a mustache. 😂
Was this wedding last week? I skipped it because I finally got too annoyed with Midge.
😢😢😢😢😢😮
I instantly recognized what Abe was playing on the piano, Halo 3 Believe ad 😉
thank you. i needed the belly laughs
People have to stop being offended and learn how to laugh again. I, too, am Polish and thought how nice I’d look in that traditional costume….🤔
You’re missing the point entirely1
It’s poorly written me doesn’t represent the era. That’s why people are offended. It’s misinformation.
Is this the last episode
Didn't know there was a live action XD
Amazon, PLEASE put out the entire season at once. This show goes into so many unrelated (albeit fun) tangents that putting out one episode per week is frustrating. It seems so terribly scattered and non-cohesive. If you put out the entire body of work, those tangents are okay because the next episode or two bring(s) it back into balance and continuity.
I mean, think about it. This week we see Joel in prison in 1987, cut back to Susie trying to get a movie deal for a young entertainer & dreaming of her famous future, Zelda getting married & crisis as she’ll be leaving employment, Joel confronting Midge about Susie’s mob ties (& them kissing), Midge doing a gig in place of Gordon & getting arrested by the Coast Guard, Midge & Gordon going out to eat & Gordon continuing to proposition Midge.
It doesn’t really tie back to anything, not in a strong way, at least. It doesn’t resolve anything or move the story along significantly. It just keeps us pretty much in the same place, except for some small clues. It keeps us hanging and feeling as though we just did another lap around the same mountain on the same track. Sure, different plot line, but nothing of significance. If you released the entire show, an episode like this that is probably a device to set larger things in motion would make sense to the viewer rather than feel disjointed.
It’s sad that every week the ending comes and it feels like an abrupt stop. Why are you messing up a good show like this?
I have an idea that will solve your problem and you won't have to write a 2,000 word essay to people who aren't going to read it, wait until the series is over watch it then, you're welcome
@@AldousHuxleysCat 😂
think you're just going to have to deal with it
I like how it’s playing out. Susie focusing so much on other clients could be a factor in her and Midges breaking up. Joel could’ve gotten mixed up with the mobs and ended up in jail. Midge and Joel still love each other and the moment got the best of them. Just wait and see how it plays out.
@@aronea9653 the split doesn't come for another 20 years.
As it's currently playing out on betting the Joel tried to protect Midge from Susie's mobsters and when he eventually goes down for that save for money laundering and goes to prison that's what causes the break
Martin Harris, long time no see after you left twitter, pozdro

Why did I think that Kevin Pollack died?? I've felt bad about it for a year now, and he's still alive??? Who died that I thought was Kevin Pollack?
Um ... Zelda's a cougar?
How the F' do I tell amazon I dont like certain movies to be displayes on my account!!!!!!!!
Netflix has a thubs down. F.k amazon does not!
As a Pole, I felt kinda offended by the whole thing
is it okay to ask why?
@@lolsyzmika9854 zelda's wedding dress is not something anyone would wear to a wedding in the second half of the XX century, for instance. It represents Polish folklore, peasant women would wear it for all kinds of village festivities in the 1800's but not in the 1960's. It suggests that she came from a backward, old-fashioned and provincial part of poland. The use of chopin ( a prélude of all things) in this context is absurd and kind of gave an impression that zelda is this uncultured simple woman and her educated patrons serve her a chopin piece for her wedding. It looks very patronising.
If it helps, the show’s not too popular anyways. Something to do with season 1 being the only decent season.
@Ula Lagowska not to nitpick but this show is in the 1950s not the 60s
@@FlutterMouse pretty sure the 5th season is set in the 60s
I loved the show at first but I stopped watching because the vulgar out of character language pushed on the audience esp through Suzie’s character was a total turn off. ‘Women” didn’t talk like that back then and stop pushing your sick agenda on us. Just make art but perhaps you’re not able to truly make art; you push a vulgar perverse narrative - we don’t want it and I stopped watching your show years ago - after season 2.
I don’t think one person not watching it would cause a big deal. Many people enjoy this show. People have different tastes, after all. You don’t have to comment here if you really didn’t enjoy it.
@@sabz1461 And there is no need for you to comment on my opinion which I am entitled to every day of the week. It’s a poorly written show which doesn’t represent the era it pretends to embrace.
@@brendaharp And yet here you are out here, putting your unsolicited opinions out in the ether, which are subject to counter opinions..which you're demanding others not counter with...
Sweetheart. Sit down. You're on the internet now. You are not exempt from anything.
"Just make art but..." said the fascist.
You might want to study what the definition of fascism is before mislabeling someone you don't even know and revealing ignorance. @@is_a_verb
This looks something more like encanto
Why? Seems very polish to me
