My jaw used to pop alot when I was a teenager then one day I was messing around pushing and pulling on it and it made a very loud pop/grinding noise and since then it's been fine
I would cry here, so scared for my jaw

Dr. Rahim, or Anyone, if you have the time, I am hoping for a general opinion.
I have an old jaw injury from 10 years old (30 today). Nothing has been done. I went for an MR and 3D XRAY 10 years ago, but my doctor told me nothing could be done except experimental surgery.
My injury was caused by me exiting an argument with a 15 year old kid, and being sucker-punched in the side of the jaw, below the ear, with no time to brace myself. I had a visibly angled jaw and could not bite down for that day or more days. For many years I had to start the day by unlocking my jaw, so that I could try to fit at least a spoon of cereal for breakfast. Over time it seems to have adapted, and I no longer have issues with jaw-locking, muscle cramps or clicking. Though I can feel that it is not in a resting place, and the difference in wearing on the teeth on both sides is very clear.
Do you think that this is something that can be fixed, despite years of wear and tear?
If so, is there a specific qualification in healing I need to find, or just chiropractors willing to do it?

Wow I finally know why fully opening my mouth feels so uncomfortable. I carefully mimicked what he was doing and it popped back in. And I felt my ear-throat connection (don't know the correct English word) opening up :)

I saw a Physio that specializes in TMJ and it did nothing. I asked - *why does my Condyle stick out so far on my left side when my mouth is fully open with deviation* ?
His response was - *oh that's normal*
Now it seems what I may have is TMJ Subluxation and that no, it's NOT normal.

Is there any place in Indonesia to have this jaw treatment? My jaw has this misalignment issue for decades since i was in junior high school. It has been affected the symmetrical shape of my face. So what does the AI and EX temporomandibular joint stand for? I got that the AI is the one with the issue and the EX is the compensating one, but what does AI and EX actually mean?
The listings of the TMJ are referencing the position of the mandibular condyle to the fossa of the temporal bone in which it sits.

I am not sure if I have TMJ, back in high school one of my classmates kneed me under my jaw. (He was taller than me so it was possible for him). I heard a pop on that day and my right side of the jaw make grinding noises when I open and close my mouth. It does not hurt when I eat or on a daily basis. Is this fixable? Sometimes I wish it doesn't have this grinding noise.

In india TMJ is rocket science for indian dentists. Omg since last 10 year I've been searching but didn't get single doctor who can treat me like this doctor. I have to fly to USA, LA, GOT address, need to apply for b2 visa , 2lac ticket, probably the same fees. 5 lac I have to arrange to go usa .

Hi ma'am, my jaw clicked/cracked/popped for the first time, will it change my face shape or structure?

My jaw dosent really hurt but its super super asymmetrical and it pops and cracks on the left side when i open it.
To add on ab the asymmetry, the left side is flat and the right side is normal
