I work in banking too and I t has never been this rough. Some days I feel so unsafe at work with people’s attitudes because they wouldn’t think twice about doing stuff, they just do it. F* the consequences
That entire financing industry they hurting and coming up with unrealistic expectations. That why I see folks working for themselves

i’ve been watching you since college, i’m a day one subscriber if you will! i hope everything within the aviation industry is getting better and you have a better more balanced work load, i miss you and your vlogs! i’m hoping to get into the industry once i complete my master degree in social work, i know this sounds weird but i rather fight for my dream job as a flight attendant before entering into the field i chose to study.. i just want to see the world, be independent, learn new skills, and not have a job or be in a profession where i already feel burnt out by dealing with other people’s struggles. you inspired me to fight for that dream, and i will achieve it bc of the tenacity you have and gave me and the multiple others that watch your channel! i hope to acquire some of that same confidence you have! i agree, not everything is positive, not everything is negative, sometimes things are just REALLL. i’d rather have a flight attendant career first, and have the ability to fight for my wants, dreams, and desires rather than going into the social work field and not ever really having the experiences that i want to have. yes, helping people and being of service to others is within my blood, but the universe is telling me to help my DAMNN self first! I hope to see another post soon and hope you are still within the industry as well, you’re amazing and i hope you know that!

Sending prayers and hugs to everyone in the industry was going to New York last month and my flight was cancel 3 times cause of pilots and flight attendant shortage was suppose to leave that Sunday afternoon and didn't leave till that Monday. I am dying, get the folks together at the end!! Lol. I’m not an FA but one of my best friends is and she is burnt all the way out. I am really sorry that COVID has changed the industry in such a negative way. Hopefully things will change to something better! I feel like any platitude of “keep your head up” or “keep pushing” would be a little disingenuous. So I will say, protect your peace. Do all the things you need for self-care. And hoping that operations get back to normal with consistency and praying for pleasant passengers, amazing crews, even better (long) layovers, and an overflowing of the bag!

I was applying to airlines before the pandemic went down, and have applied to a couple of airlines since then. I had some interviews before covid, but have not had great success thus far.
