These too commentators remind me of Statler and Waldorf from the Muppets; heckling every shot. lol

I've been watching Ortmann since he was 19 years old..watched him run 179 with less than 10 seconds between shots...Ralph Eckert says "when he pockets the balls they never want to come out again."

I've always been impressed by Ortmann's Straight Pool. A cross between classical 14.1 and power.

These guys are so good it's not even funny. I'm 67 yrs old, been playing this game since I was 14 years old. My high run, and I hate to admit it, is 42. I just don't understand how they do it.

The last time I watched Mika play a straight pool match he played it like a 9 ball game...way too much movement of the cue ball, little to no discernable pattern play little use of insurance balls. In this match and bonus run Mika exhibited real knowledge of good straight pool play. Excellent pattern play and not too too excessive with cue ball travel. Also - hate to say it but after I muted the sound (about 2 minutes into the match) and set playback speed at 1.5 it was a much more enjoyable game to watch. His management of the the game spoke for itself and there was no distracting chatter and his pattern play was much easier to appreciate.
