The bottom should be much more wider like on the extreme 4 . ## JBL should make it restart and review previous tracks as well as going to the next track ##. 🤔Play music from flash drives and tf drive cards 🤔, built in FM 📻 radio😉 , build a bigger size 25 lbs or so with 2 racetrack subwoofers 🔊 🔊, two tweeters & two midrange speakers - a 6 speaker 🔈 🔉🔊🔊🔉🔈system 🤔.Make it play on other FM radios via built in FM transmitter .😉🤙
- Physical button to change EQ settings (I can do it via app - but this is slow process when app is not running in background already) or play mode like:
* Flat (no EQ)
* No sub (eco mode)
* Bass boost
* JBL enchanced (sound profile made by JBL - how is now by default in every JBL speaker)
* Custom / eq settings via app
- USB-C (PD) charge, laptops can do it already, why this speaker cannot?
I purchased a BB3 in Feb 24. Was loving life big time with the sound/bass quality- un-matched… anyhow 2 months ago, (May 2024) out of the blue it just would not charge or turn on. 😢. I check for a solution online by typing in a search ‘jbl boom box 3 won’t turn on’ and sadly found videos and endless comments stating that it is a common problem, which many who seem to combat by pressing the standby button several times consecutively to make it turn on.
I’m grudgingly returning the device as it cost too much to be having these issues constantly and further down the line.
However, I still need a replacement. 🙁 Don’t know what to go with instead
#1 USB C charging! You nailed it! What if I'm at the beach or up camping and forgot to top it off?! Where am I finding An AC plug in? I'm not, but I do have power banks with high wattage charging! Removable batteries would be great too. Have a spare one charged up and be able to USB C charge the dead one, while keeping the music playing. I think four rubber "feet" in the corners would be a better design, for sturdiness.
the handle is ok because it is made of metal, but it should have been covered with rubber where you can hold it with your hand

Bigger (think jvc kaboom size) More power, more bass. More deep bass, more pro eq app with infinite frequency adjustment, Low frequency Mode, keep the bass at high volume.
Your list is good. I had the exact same complaint with my bb3. Thats why i love my w-king x20. JBL needs to step it up and make the bb4 similar to the w-king x20.

All these additions are very nice & practical, i'll like these few options to be added too
-The use of neodymium magnets instead of ferrite ones to help reduce weight plus other advantages therein
-At least up to 9 bands graphics EQ that are highly flexible
-An SD card slot will be an added advantage (sometimes i just want to play my music without having to connect my phone via aux in, bluetooth or Wifi)
i would be happy if they bring back better indoor and outdoor mode ,this would help with bass on max volume. or the ai could analyze if you are indoor or outdoor and lower low bass and higher upper bass outodoors.

Yes to the foldable hooks, to add a shoulder strap.
Keep the metal handle, but just spray it, reflective silver, or polish it like a mirror silver to reflect the heat and stop the handle from heating up in direct sunlight.
I love GBL products, and cannot wait for the boombox for I am pretty sure it will have Auracast and a removable battery.

For me, a Metal handle with a full silicone cover where your hand goes.... Those metal clips for a strap from the other brand was ON POINT!!

I've had the boombox 2 for about 3 years. I use it all the time and it still has an amazing battery. Maybe im just lucky.

The reason why jbl tuned the speakers that way where the bass reduces at high volumes is too reduce distortion cos if the bass is the same as the volume it just wouldn’t sound nice n I think he would damage the drivers as well
hello.. on the 2nd boombox 2⁵, the battery light does not light up at all. otherwise, it charges well, works perfectly..it's strange though..i haven't heard it before
u want ur bass back.? go to ur phone EQ and put the 30 hz and 60hz or 63 hz wat ever ther is put it to -6db or -10db meaning -6db would be good for volume around 60-80% volume and -10db or even -8db would be good for when using it at max volume go test this and let me kno

The boombox 3 has great even at higher volumes what are you talking I mean it can better but nonetheless pretty good I use Spotify normalization and I get bass even past 80 percent it’s pretty steady up the scale it pulls back at little yes but all speakers do this

Silly, they've taken a step forward and going back to a plastic handle is silly and not as presentable. I'm against it and I don't like that kind of thing. We need to add really essential things, not degrade backwards…

You can tho… You just need a USB c cable.
I have a Xtreme 3 but I wouldn't use it as a power bank anyway as it'd drain its battery faster... For that purpose I have my own power bank (Anker), so that wouldn't be an issue, at least in my case.

Well, the Xtreme has an attachable strap and the partybox on the go has it, but the boombox ..... you know when the logic of jbl is not so logical.

But Xtreme 2 doesn't have any bass I had a Xtreme 2 and there was never a lot of bass only with EQ settings at max bass it got some little bass
Naww the sound signature is fine. The 3 has the best sound signature of all the JBL Boomboxes
I am a bass guy, Pls, from all the various brands out there, which one have the best Top big deep bass out there for reggae music..for price doesn't matter, its about the music and especially the EX BASS.. thanks
