Family estrangement is worse than a death because it’s like the pain is always fresh. It’s never in the past. It’s the current situation and the impossibility of ever resolving anything. Soul shattering. I searched this video looking for help but the advice didn’t help me at all unfortunately.

That is not an estranged family - wrong definition of "estranged". No - estranged means :chosen to exclude" when son/daughter is old enough to make the choice to disassociate themselves from other family members. So the title is misleading. My adult daughter is "estranged". She has not spoken to me in 7 years.
