Matakana Island Thundercat Racing Enduro 2019

Round 3 of the 2019 Demon Energy Summer Thunder was the first Enduro of the week as was held in the afternoon after round 2 in gale force conditions. With a course change due to safety reasons we saw lead changes, breakdowns, run agrounds and a flip.

2:30 Start
4:00 WeRaise out to the lead early soon to be overtaken by BBE & Waikato
5:00 BBE hit the sandbar giving the lead back to WeRaise
6:00 Total Lubricants start having engine trouble after almost racing to the front. Waikato is having fuel issues
6:45 WeRaise round the marker first followed closely by BBE
7:15 Total are out
7:45 WeRaise first back to complete a lap with a huge lead
8:45 Waikato flip and reinstate
9:45 BBE close the gap on WeRaise
10:15 WeRaise run out of fuel
10:30 BBE Win!

Guys what did Waikato do to reinstate? Just remove sparkies, pull a few times and good to go? Always wondered how they recover out on the water.
