Update: I have watched this video 100 times. I have literally memorized the song by heart at this point. Update: it has been half a year since I first heard this song, and it is my official favorite song. Thank you James Coffey for this absolute unit of a song. Update: its been a full year, song still slaps
Hear that sound (Johnny popper) round and round, (Johnny popper) when you hear that sound coming through your town the answer is clear it’s a big John deere.
this song actually has a lot of truth in it Model D tractors only had two cylinders, and these tractors were often called "Johnny Poppers". The "Johnny" comes from "John" in John Deere, and the "Popper" comes from the sound the tractors make, which sound like a "pop". (you can hear this throughout the video) Hence the name.
how is this a vietnam ashback, Vietnam Flashbacks are usually way more traumatic, require therapy, and are actually terrifying or sad. This is from a DVD about tractors.
@@AoDahRoh21404 I never grew up with these DVDs unfortunately, however I grew up with I Love Toy Trains and have good meomories of watching it on the couch while eating grilled cheese.
Hahah! Definitely looks different! If i recall i think deere had optional paint colors for the industrial models... Dont take my word but i think that was a thing for a while
