  • In this video I review the 4400 PSI 4GPM pressure washing unit from Simpson. All connects are 3/8th in size. When down streaming, utilize a hydro flex (downstream chemical injector) which can be found on amazon... a lot safer than risking machine life by using the built-on SOAP injector.

You can also attach the downstream attachment with the hose to quick connnect of the gun, granted you have to carry the bucket like a xjet, it does preserve the life of your hoses, and you never have an issue with it pulling chemical. Great video man nice and simple! 👍🏽

I know this is late, but I'd like to give a little tip to increase the longevity of downstream injectors.
    1) Always, ALWAYS run rinse water through it at the end of a job.
    2) At the end of the day, always take it off of your pressure washer, and give the insides a squirt of WD-40. This can double the lifespan of your injector. In a few cases, it tripled the lifespan.
Mine used to last roughly 2-3 weeks. So if you do the math, that's at LEAST $240 per season. So using the tips above, I cut that cost to $120 per season.
And thats just for one man and one washer. So those of you who have multiple trucks and aren't doing this... get on it. Make that money, and save yourself some more money.

Hello there and thanks for the review of this pressure washer,it highlights some of the things that I want to know about the equipment.I just bought mine last month and did not use it until yesterday and the first issue that I have with it is water really dripping from the point where the hose from the tap connects to the pressure washer,I think it is called the low pressure side.I tried to tighten this connector but water still keep goshing out from that point.I connected an adaptor that allows me to use a quick connect,is therev something that I am not doing right or could it be that I did not use the correct size of adaptor. I will reelly appreciate your help because you have bought it earlier than me and will most definitely understand and know how it works.

It's called a downstream injector. I know the machine has one built on but search amazon "downstream injector" and plenty will show up. Find the right one for your unit regarding PSI and GPM. As far as tips, use a JROD and avoid XJET, but I know some people who prefer XJET vs JROD. Major difference is the XJET is way more expensive than JROD and I also believe JROD works better. Make sure you get a JROD capable for the GPM on your unit they sell a 2-3GPM piece and a 3-5GPM piece etc.
