It's interesting to note, Maya was ALMOST dropped from XG (along with Chisa and Juria) during their evaluations and now Maya has become one of the fan favorites when it comes to dancing. Can't overlook at the main vocalists, Chisa and Juria's dance prowess too!
They were never going to be dropped from XG.. only sent back to Japan. When they went to Korea that training was based around dance, it had nothing to do with vocal or rapping!

Officially, Jurin is the Leader of the group, and the Dance Leader. She is always critiqueing stage rehearsals and making adjustments on dance to the team. But they are all great dancers, dazzling dancers in their poise, perfect details, and movement, effortlessly. Jurin in Hesonoo shows her true range and artistry.
XG is a whole DANCE CREW. I became a fan after I received a recommendation from RUclips and at that time..I did not know they were an Xpop Group. If I was another Group and I seen them coming…I’d just leave silently. They are ALL “ACES”. They trained for five years and their DANCE COVERS are RIDICULOUS. Hinata is a great dancer, but Jurin was already training at AVEX for 9 years , she was just a child there, so the members might consider that because she had the longest training year in all of them, many people misunderstood that Jurin had no dancing background, when she literally is a part of AVEX dance master since elementary
I saw them perform in their Manila concert, and watching Jurin dance live was truly captivating. While they all perform well, you'll find yourself drawn to Jurin, her moves are flawless.

Harvey has incredible back flexibility. You can see it on Puppett Show Choreos in the flower circle, when she leans back, and when she bent over backwards at KCON LA on I am the Best!
I really love harvey’s fluidity in her moves. When she did dance challenge with other idol its like their song was hers and she moves without thinking too much, its like muscle memory for her.

Yep, that is true, Jurin and Hinata are the main dancer. Jurin is Main Dancer/Lead Rapper and Hinata is Main Dancer/Lead Vocalist. Source it from the early days of XG. Although now, Hinata may be overshadowed by other members dance wise, but you can see that from Mascara and Tippy Toes Era. Also it was mentioned even by the girls that Hinata is their Dance senpai apart from Jurin. PLUS, HINATA is an awesome.. AMAZING DANCER (tho everyone is A1 Flawless), just go see the Move video of hers and you know she is as technical as Jurin.
I totally agree, XG is made of all main dancers and all of them are at professional level not the kind that is present in idols. Watching them performed is like seeing the essence of true dancers, every move is clean and perfect. Ps my girl Jurin ❤

i feel like its easy to decide whos the better dancer and its jurin. cocona, shes really good but jurin is a natural dancer. two different things, cocona is very detail but you can tell she works hard to get this good and learn choreography, jurin on the other hand not saying shes not a hard worker but learning chores is easy for her cuz shes taugth her body to moves naturally to the beat and has full control of her body. she reminds me of jhope but more relax less bouncy
You just have to remember that this group was formed through competition. What you see here are girls proved their professionalism. This is why you can't pick a main dancer. They all embody that talent. XG is CHEFS KISS.😊💗👍💐
Cocona and jurin has so much technique and details in their dancing but MAYA is just all about the feeling, feeling herself, passing the feeling, feel the public, everything is just 😍😍😍 all of them are just so gooooood
i think ppl have been underestimating how good chisa is in her dances. she has great expressions that compliment the dances and she is actually very damn clean as well. but tbh, they all so good.
The thing is, sure when they started, some were more proficient in dancing than others but they’ve all trained together and for a long period of time that they all seem like main dancers. They’re too good.
No one talks about hinata but she is their second main dancer. Weirdly enough although she never misses, constantly clean and on time, people overlook her because of the strong personality in this group. she would be the main dancer in another k-pop group EASILYYYY

Jurin and Cocona are both great dancers and have a lot of swag. What stands out for me on Cocona is her attitude when performing and Jurin has that MC energy.
For me Cocona is the group’s most talented dancer, and Jurin is the best performer. But my faves to watch dancing of the group are Maya and Hinata! They both go hard.
JURIN is the main dancer. I also find that JURIA gives off lead dancer vibes. She is sharp yet fluid and she really emphasises the details and technicalities of the choreography. For example in XG's TGIF and Puppet Show dance practices, if you focus on Juria there are certain moves she performs with extra flourish and detail. Juria's technique is very appealing.
Harvey has the best traditional dancer’s feet. Cocona has the most natural swag. Jurin seems to be the most expressive, embodying the groove of every song. They’re all great performers!
Jurin and Koko-chan are mother and daughter lol.. when Kamiya was interviewed she said that Maya was attached to her hip and kokona was attached to Jurin's. It's like the older ones took them under their wings. This is why in one of XGs behind the scenes Kokona cries when she is telling Jurin why she loves her on her bday.
Jurin catches my eyes everytime 🥹 I was hooked up when I watched their Left Right Dance Practice like she is so so swag and cool 😎❤ I came to realize that I like cool girls 😂
As an Alpha who is not that expert in dances it's really reassuring that these dancers genuinely lovee XG's dance skills. Just a proof that this girl group is on another level. All main dancers, all vocalist and rappers. No shade to other groups but XG made me feel alive again when it comes to kpop, I've stopped watching new gen girl groups cause I've been looking for something different and then I found them, this japanese group and made me fall in love instantly not just because of their talents each of them just have great personality wnd genuine they are like family. Special thanks to Simon and the whole crew esp. to their stylists and technical team. This group needs more recognition. XG is worth stanning❤️❤️❤️

Recently jurin said in one of their blogs where she was talking to maya and she called herself the dance leader and maya said the same on another interview. We all can have opinions but at the end of the day if they members said it's jurin is not that we can't trust their judgement, they trained with her, their mentors must've said that aswell.

Every time people talk about the best xg dancers, two are undoubtedly mentioned. And we all know who those mentioned are. I would also like to add that although Jurin is a better dancer, the difference between her and Cocona is practically minuscule.

And i can be be guided by that and not just that the members said it but again, they trained with her for years, they know, their mentors know, they have seen things we haven't. All we have to judge is a little of what they can do. Don't get me wrong, i love cocona and i think she's a great rapper and dancer, she could be a Main dancer in any other group just not this one, i feel like people think she's underrated when she's always praised and noticed first by everyone( as she should ofc) but when someone says someone it's better on something, like dance, facts are ignored.
It really depends on what you like. For me, I love the confidence of both Jurin and Chisa, even though Hinata might be the more technically skilled member.
For me Cocona and Jurin are the best dancers of the group. I can’t pick just one. I love the swag/cool vibe that Cocona brings to her dance and how Jurin is so sharp with her moves. For me they’re the main dancers
This group is as they all say, very cohesive and so well co-ordinated that it's hard to pick and really why shoul you 😅. You can tell they trained very hard and have a good team behind them as well and not just in terms of simply choreography but overall. BUT having all that said Jurin just has that extra sprinkle sprinkle ✨ ✨ ✨ can't really pinpoint what it is exactly but her execution, her style, her AURA is so effortless and always 10/10. It's a feast for the eyes to be able to witness her. This is one heck of a talented group and def 💫The Standard💫 for me not just in kpop/jpop but on the worldwide stage. SO excited to see what they serve in the future.
All if the girls have been training at the same dance academy since young age that's why they all got really strong foundation in dancing especially hiphop genre. They are literally the only gg I feel like they can dance like...properly

Hinata is the most introverted out the group and her confidence has made tremendous leaps since she first started training. She is still working on it though
Move is a good individual dance of each members and aiki with xg -mary j blige dance practice is a good choreography to watch too, cause the offical video cuts out hinata n cocona in a certain dance move but in the dance practice you can see them more clearly
if I'm not mistaken Hinata and Jurin are the main dancers. But when it comes to dancing Chisa, Cocona and Maya are my faves. Chisa is really elegant with her dancing and has such long limbs it just works so nicely, Cocona is so swaggy and she always uses her whole body to dance and I love it. and Maya is so diverse in everything she does how could I not love her. I do love everyone else but those 3 just completely have my heart in all they do.
If they thought this was impressive, they gotta watch Jurin and Cocona's solo performances from XG MOVE #2. Hiphop is their specialty, and nobody in the group does it like they do.

Cocona and jurin has so much technique and details in their dancing but MAYA is just all about the feeling, feeling herself, passing the feeling, feel the public, everything is just 😍😍😍 all of them are just so gooooood

i think ppl have been underestimating how good chisa is in her dances. she has great expressions that compliment the dances and she is actually very damn clean as well. but tbh, they all so good.

The thing is, sure when they started, some were more proficient in dancing than others but they’ve all trained together and for a long period of time that they all seem like main dancers. They’re too good.
No one talks about hinata but she is their second main dancer. Weirdly enough although she never misses, constantly clean and on time, people overlook her because of the strong personality in this group. she would be the main dancer in another k-pop group EASILYYYY
Most of the choreo is thanks to Sienna Lalau from The Lab who is a complete beast. The girls are in good hands
Some were by Kiel Tutin, the international famous New Zealand Choreographer who was the stage musical director for Blackpink's Pink Venom World Tour. But yes, Sienna Lalau and the Lab more so in 2023.
Jurin and Cocona are both great dancers and have a lot of swag. What stands out for me on Cocona is her attitude when performing and Jurin has that MC energy.

For me Cocona is the group’s most talented dancer, and Jurin is the best performer. But my faves to watch dancing of the group are Maya and Hinata! They both go hard.

JURIN is the main dancer. I also find that JURIA gives off lead dancer vibes. She is sharp yet fluid and she really emphasises the details and technicalities of the choreography. For example in XG's TGIF and Puppet Show dance practices, if you focus on Juria there are certain moves she performs with extra flourish and detail. Juria's technique is very appealing.
Juria really improved a lot in 2023 I started to notice her dance after I am The Best cover.
Harvey has the best traditional dancer’s feet. Cocona has the most natural swag. Jurin seems to be the most expressive, embodying the groove of every song. They’re all great performers!
The fact that this is almost a tie for Jurin and Cocona is just lovely.
Those two and their Tiktok dance contents are to die for.
Jurin and Koko-chan are mother and daughter lol.. when Kamiya was interviewed she said that Maya was attached to her hip and kokona was attached to Jurin's. It's like the older ones took them under their wings. This is why in one of XGs behind the scenes Kokona cries when she is telling Jurin why she loves her on her bday.

As an Alpha who is not that expert in dances it's really reassuring that these dancers genuinely lovee XG's dance skills. Just a proof that this girl group is on another level. All main dancers, all vocalist and rappers. No shade to other groups but XG made me feel alive again when it comes to kpop, I've stopped watching new gen girl groups cause I've been looking for something different and then I found them, this japanese group and made me fall in love instantly not just because of their talents each of them just have great personality wnd genuine they are like family. Special thanks to Simon and the whole crew esp. to their stylists and technical team. This group needs more recognition. XG is worth stanning❤️❤️❤️

it's jurin, the members said it multiple times on interviews, and when you see their other content it's so clear, they always go to her for her advice/opinion on dance related stuff not cause she's the leader but also cause she's the best.
It is true that girls usually choose her but in several interviews they also said that Cocona is also very good and in fact Harvey chose her in an interview for billboard
@@lulan-oh6tu i mean it's still jurin, i saw an interview that one member chose jurin and cocona but that's it. Recently jurin said in one of their blogs where she was talking to maya and she called herself the dance leader and maya said the same on another interview. We all can have opinions but at the end of the day if they members said it's jurin is not that we can't trust their judgement, they trained with her, their mentors must've said that aswell.

Every time people talk about the best xg dancers, two are undoubtedly mentioned. And we all know who those mentioned are. I would also like to add that although Jurin is a better dancer, the difference between her and Cocona is practically minuscule.

And i can be be guided by that and not just that the members said it but again, they trained with her for years, they know, their mentors know, they have seen things we haven't. All we have to judge is a little of what they can do. Don't get me wrong, i love cocona and i think she's a great rapper and dancer, she could be a Main dancer in any other group just not this one, i feel like people think she's underrated when she's always praised and noticed first by everyone( as she should ofc) but when someone says someone it's better on something, like dance, facts are ignored.
It really depends on what you like. For me, I love the confidence of both Jurin and Chisa, even though Hinata might be the more technically skilled member.
For me Cocona and Jurin are the best dancers of the group. I can’t pick just one. I love the swag/cool vibe that Cocona brings to her dance and how Jurin is so sharp with her moves. For me they’re the main dancers

This group is as they all say, very cohesive and so well co-ordinated that it's hard to pick and really why shoul you 😅. You can tell they trained very hard and have a good team behind them as well and not just in terms of simply choreography but overall. BUT having all that said Jurin just has that extra sprinkle sprinkle ✨ ✨ ✨ can't really pinpoint what it is exactly but her execution, her style, her AURA is so effortless and always 10/10. It's a feast for the eyes to be able to witness her.
This is one heck of a talented group and def 💫The Standard💫 for me not just in kpop/jpop but on the worldwide stage. SO excited to see what they serve in the future.

All if the girls have been training at the same dance academy since young age that's why they all got really strong foundation in dancing especially hiphop genre. They are literally the only gg I feel like they can dance like...properly

Move is a good individual dance of each members and aiki with xg -mary j blige dance practice is a good choreography to watch too, cause the offical video cuts out hinata n cocona in a certain dance move but in the dance practice you can see them more clearly
if I'm not mistaken Hinata and Jurin are the main dancers. But when it comes to dancing Chisa, Cocona and Maya are my faves. Chisa is really elegant with her dancing and has such long limbs it just works so nicely, Cocona is so swaggy and she always uses her whole body to dance and I love it. and Maya is so diverse in everything she does how could I not love her. I do love everyone else but those 3 just completely have my heart in all they do.
