Hello and good evening Steve. You showed some essential listens. I do not know many hip hop albums. But TCQ's Low End Theory is one heck of an album. Midnight Marauders is also good. >< Nice shout out to my Blimp brother VK Vance. I will surely check out Ritual King. I never heard off them until now. So thanks to you I get to check that out and the Mayhem album. Excellent vinyl update S~

Rob, hey and thanks for stopping by and hanging out. Yes midnight Marauders is the other TCQ album that is essential. VK is stoner rock brotherin. When I miss anything I look towards GMRN and Vance. I like RSD.. A lot ! Although I am striking it rich with used vinyl at killer prices ! Wow ! Look at that Skid Row B Sides, and Mark Lanegan / Screaming Trees ! What a cool name for a band by the way. I picked that B-52's from Bill's last month. Monster Magnet is awesome ! My nephew Toby Swope lives outside of Richmond now, and tours with Morbikon and his old band Psychosomatic on their east coast leg of their tour.. Also .. He is filling in for Havok on that massive "Hell & Heaven" tour ! Enjoy those nice records, Steve ! See you again.. soon. 🙏

If you gave time,check out these guys. I have still been scoring at Bill's, and my new deal is my old Tower Recods buddy, Ted.. He's starting to sell me his vinyl ! I love how as you’re showing the records you’re convincing yourself that you need them. Excellent theater as always. I also got into Screaming Trees with Nearly Lost You. I guess I was 13/14yo at the time. But I went backwards and ordered three or four of their SST albums then too. They had several records before Sweet Oblivion. You went wild, Zonkman! Love to see it! Hi Steve. Dog you're all over the place with this haul!! Kudos for spreading the ❤ to all your local RS. I picked up a few RSD titles too. The Doors were one of them. Definitely lacking in the sound quality a bit but the improvisation on the songs make it a must have for me. I'll post very soon. Still digesting the music. Your room is looking like you've been there awhile 😊. Thanks for sharing your booty.

That is a great amount if vinyl I’d be interested what your thoughts are on the doors album. Interesting story on that Norwegian black metal. Enjoyed the stroll through the vinyl.
Tony, thank you for stopping by and hanging out. I’ll have to listen to the doors some more. The first song caught me off guard because of Jim’s vocals strained and kinda over the music. But that may be how it sounded. Most songs sound good until he starts yelling and screaming. The long version of When the Musics Over is good as well as the version of The End. The medley’s are great also. You don’t have to sample any Mayhem but definitely hunt down the story. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman

I was surprised to be able to grab a copy of Judgment Night. They pressed it again for the 30th Anniversary. No lines down here. The Screaming Trees sold out fast here. Dust is my favorite Screaming Trees album. Chili Peppers still can jam. So great live. Seen them a few times. Once with Janes Addiction. Sorry to hear that Underdog had to bail on RSD but understand completely. Heck of a haul man!! You really hit the streets hard.
Dave, hope you are feeling better. Judgement Night has always been a fun soundtrack for me. We had some small lines around here cause everybody opened at a different hour. I’ll have to dig deeper on this early Screaming Trees. Chili Peppers and Jane’s Addiction had to be a bad ass show. I am thankful I was able to go nuts and support local stores. My local record store no longer does RSD. He got tired of the hassle. The Doors live in Bakersfield is on its way to me. I’ve been to many concerts at the Bakersfield Civic.
Pat, what’s going on? I think it’s good the stores are stopping participation of RSD. That inventory can rot in their warehouse instead of stores all over the world. Lol I thought you might dig the Bakersfield concert. Didn’t know how much you liked the Doors. Hell I wanted to ask you if you went to that show? Hey Zonkman. This video was very much like a crack addict robbed a bank and then went to every crack dealer in the area. Listened to that Judgement Night quite a bit when it came out. Nice to score a copy of that Screaming Trees for sure. Gotta keep the “want list” long. Cool to grab an 90’s press on The Low End Theory. Cheers!
