- How is excellence described in the Qur’an?
Visualizing and consistently striving for Paradise, being generous when it's easy and difficult, suppressing our anger and pardoning others, and turning to Allah for forgiveness when we sin all play a role.

I'm JEWISH however the Islamic community has been extremely kind to me. I'm grateful for the fellowship with the Islamic community.
Shalom 🥰
Thank you! Peace!
3 keys of being persons of excellence, summarized from Sheikh’s Video: 1. Lock your eyes on the prize (paradise) otherwise not being able to race , 2. Being a person of habitual good (being a person of ihsan), 3. Being the person who is able to overcome the let down (obstacles), e.g. repentance/ask forgiveness from Allah, resilience, having hope, get back up every single time, seek help from Allah
What led you into Hell Fire?
They will say: 'We were not of those who prayed.'” (Qur'an 74:42-43)
🌹Don't forget your five daily prayers 🌹
To summarise Ustadhs points in becoming people of excellence:
- Spend money in Allah’s way in good time and bad times
- suppressing your rage and forgiving when you are wronged because your perception is bigger than this world
- Small but consistent good deeds, you are what you habitually do, i.e, start with a page of Quran a day
- When you commit evil deeds or wrong yourself, they repent and do not be persistent in that sin. Perhaps we will slip at times but won’t persist in it
Thanks man
