- This brand-new Toyota tundra had a small lift kit and bigger tires and rims 35x12.5x20 installed when truck was brand new within 200 miles. Ever since there has been a significant vibration at HI way speeds. After multiple visits back to the same place where tires were bought, the company Town Faire tire could not get tires balanced properly. 3 attempts with wheel weights and two attempts with balance beads. After researching a bit I found a local non chain tire place that had a road force balancer that solved my ongoing balance issue.
I agree with you!! You spend all that money! It should be running smoothly!!
Damm I would of been upset also to not be able to get a tire shop to fix the problem and damage my rims in the process. Especially in this economy buddy u are the man.
This is why you don't fuck with a new vehicle
Road force balance is what you need this exact thing is happening on my 2010 Toyota Sequoia with factory wheels and all-terrain tires smooth as butter all terrains on aftermarket rims that look very much like yours shakes at 75 and above you need road force balance done on all four and possibly another alignment
Another issue I found that alot of tire place and dealer do is that when they mount a tire there a yellow dot the dot supose to be aligned with the valve steam , each tire is not made equal so when they put the tire on it needs so much weights, I have a 08 tundra been having same issue , then I research the issue and told them to fix the tire they where laughing, sure enough after fix was less weights stop shaking in freeway
Don't get rid of the original rims and tires
Find a good shop…if they screwed up the first time, why go back…the definition of insanity.
Maybe try a smaller or bigger size tire did the rims come whit a specific tire size? Call the manufacturer of the rim and c if they got a solution for you.
Try hub centric rings, aftermarket wheels aren’t hub centric, they are universal fit
What brand tire?
They messed up your rim
I would suggest start drinking heavily
