Love the time capsule effect of this upload, thanks for documenting the legendary 1990s
Ralph Bakshi learned a valuable lesson after the production of Cool World: Never punch a producer in the face when he's the son of the boss of the studio producing your film.
He did that? Wow.
@@Xayjohns Yep. I can't blame him though. He envisioned darker and more disturbing film, Paramount wanted the next Roger Rabbit.
@@ricardocantoral7672 Oh
Too bad well never see another cool world done the right way by ralph bakshi.

Wow Superbowl Champions Washington Redskins. That’s definitely the last time you will ever hear that. Lol
I love hearing them discuss films ive never heard of and have no intention of ever watching. They are truly maestros. I liked Ebert and Roeper but when you compare it to Siskel and Ebert its not even close. This was the perfect, secret sauce
Great VHS quality. The commercials are gold lol. Cool World is one of my favorites. Too bad the critics didn't enjoy it.
Jack Nicholson was also in A Few Good Men and Hoffa. The same year he starred in Man Trouble.
I am honestly surprised how much they loved Hoffa. I think Nicholson and De Vito pulled off good performances but it never goes behind the superficial.
@@ricardocantoral7672 Well Danny DeVito was also the penguin when he did Hoffa.
@@uyeda What's your point ?
@@ricardocantoral7672 My point is that I know that Batman Returns was released in the summer. Hoffa came out in the winter.
Incidentally, _A Few Good Men_ was the 7th highest-grossing film of 1992 and was nominated for several Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for Jack Nicholson.
Love the old commercials
This was good. I’m glad the commercials were left in.
" A closely knit community of Hasidic Jews".
Talk about being redundant.
@20:13 Hey, it's Bob from UHF!
15:46 Oh my!
Yay, new uploads!!!
Pity they didn't do the worst of the summer of 1992 like they did in 1985.
They didn’t like the summer of 1992 at all did they?
@@patrickshields5251 Not a lot
@@jamesmitchell8922 I mean, you actually assessed their responses to the summer of 1992 and came to the conclusion that they think it’s a bad summer. You’re very good. I do the same thing too.
All of the movies were given 2 thumbs way down.
Expect for, The Hours & Times that was given a split second vote decision.

If only The Hours And Times had been between John Lennon and Jeffrey Epstein *drops mic*
I HATE COMMERCIALS.
