One of the best How to's I've seen right up my alley on a fix for my 2000. Jeeo grand cherokee Larado, thanks much
Outstanding video and calibration troubleshooting at the end-thank you
Thanks for all that, if i ever need to do this!!
Thanks for your time in making this helpful video. I didn't notice, did you test the actuator at the start to ensure that wasn't the problem? Thanks.
Yes. it's probably not in the video, but you can take the actuator off, plug it back in, then turn the key on and change your heat settings, if it is working, you will see the connector turning
Is this for the dual control? Or is there 2 more doors in another place?
this is dual zone, (both doors) the reason I did not replace center divider, is because this was being converted to a single zone
did i miss something ? what was wrong with the old parts ?
This is a fix for when the old doors are stripped or broken and no longer switch between hot and cold air
Will this work for 98xj it only blows heat. My a/c doesn't blow cold only hot air. no leaks
My response is somewhat extensive, so please watch this video - ruclips.net/video/qfZdKAkJcow/видео.html
@@rogerrachet68 it was bend door. I got ice cold a/c.
unfortunately these blend doors on this site is solely for 99 to 04 grand Cherokee WJ, I'm sure you can find a kit for an XJ with some research.
@@rogerrachet68 I can open close them Manuel so that better then not having a/c in summer. Thank you your video made me get off ass.
Lol you cut the middle plastic out it is not going back evenly so blend doors move smoothly.Youll have to leave it out
You can smooth out the surfaces and glue or tape it back in, but this was being converted to a single zone comfort, and not staying a dual zone, reason for conversion is that the rear door motor is stripped out.
