I have FTDI usb-to-serial cable (RJ45 to male USB). I am not able to read it in the prog. software (windows xp). I have the drivers all installed. Am I missing something? Thank you!
I think your programming cable not compatible to the radio you want to program..
Hi, how to change the GP88 range from 450-470 to 430-470. Can it be changed?
The range can`t be change but possible to program frequency from that range...if your radio band at UHF midrange.

What is the interface cable connection from the USB to SERIAL PORT? Is it a straight thru connection or there is a circuit that U made for the convertion going to the radio?
The interface cable have own circuit to convert USB port to serial port dB9.

Hi have you tried any Maxon radios to program via DropBox?
No sir but if the software run in DOS possibly it runs via DOSBOX software.

Software sir meron ko puede kita bigyan..iwan lang po kayo Gmail. acct. pasahan ko kayo. Yung programming cable sir wala po.. Try nio po sa online SH or LAZ. meron po.

Maybe your programmer is for Motorola only so power supply input is 12v.
