I'm far more concerned by the suffering of mankind. Animals, no matter what SOME people want to believe or think, are NOT the same as people.
@@em_birch The latest research is leaning towards that they do feel pain that is, by applying human metrics that defines 'pain' onto crustaceans (non-human).
While I don't feel strongly about cooking shrimps alive, the well-being of mankind can't be separated from other creatures sharing this planet. If you're talking about humanitarian pains however, most of the pains came to be because we are not creatures who look at things in a bigger picture but only focuses on our own pain.
@@julesverneinoz They react in a way indicative of feeling pain, but scientists can't agree on whether it's just an automatic response or if they're legitimately hurting. I'm still more concerned about real animal abuse than I am shrimp being cooked.
