I drive through Cd. Obregon on my trips driving down into Mexico and usually there's detours and construction there. They don't have many nice areas where you feel comfortable stopping to eat or buy things - they should focus on developing and expanding some areas that are moer upscale to attract tourists or at least some travelers willing to stop and spend some time there. I often stop in Navojoa for eating, because it's a smaller, safer town for travelers and it's South of Obregon. It's got a very nice McDonald's if you are traveling with children and it's a moderately prosperous town.

@@Lupita-xk5hy Thank you for your reply. We have stayed once in Obregon and driven through parts of the city, too. I think it is an industrial town - I always travel through Obregon in route to Puerto Vallarta and, also, on my return. We often stop in Navojoa for coffee or a lunch. We really enjoy the people and the culture anywhere we travel in Mexico. Once the main road was blocked due to an acquaduct problem and we were greatful for help navigating around the blockage so we could continue South.

Ciudad con calles amplias y bien trazada, lamentablemente sus calles son un cochinero, llenas de baches y delincuencia organizada.
