Salt Grilled Chicken Wrapped in Paper is a popular street food dish in Malaysia. It consists of chicken marinated in a mixture of salt, pepper, and other spices, then grilled over hot coals and wrapped in paper or banana leaves. The juicy, flavorful chicken is a popular snack or meal on the go for Malaysians and is often served with rice and chili sauce.

Is that coal? Not stone gravel?
Looks so delicious! Oh, I need a huge amount of rice to go with that. 🤤

How long does it cook?
Until the chicken is cooked.
Not long enough
It seems to be really good but it looks like the truck or food stand needs to be cleaned
WHO CARES
Great...all those chemicals used to make that paper can seep into the under cooked chicken...as indicated by how easily the
Bone detached...
Not true
The meat falling off the bone is an indication of how well it’s cooked, not undercooked.
Parchment paper mah haiya. Not your newspaper!
It would be much much better if they use banana leafs instead of paper 😌
Chinese maaa~
It has been generations using paper for salt baked chicken
@@juliechuah3730 no. Ztt2
No, that's not the tradition
Yup
Needs a bit of color
They just infused all the chemicals to that chicken from the paper that should be called toxic waste
That would probably be similar to rotisserie chicken which I am not fond off.
Rotisserie chicken is dry. This salt baked chicken is succulent, moist and juicy.
ไม่หรอย
I’m just struck by how dirty and rusty everything is.😳
Why is that bucket so dirty jeez
Raw
I agree
Did they try use banana leaf? Should be more fragrant and free chemical
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That's not the tradition
fuck mate this looks sickening hell yeas
Dam no gloves and none for handling the chicken or food
Not needed Mr safety knownothing
You have no idea about food safety. Why do they need gloves when prepping chicken? As long as their hands are clean, that's good enough. Once the chicken is cooked to temperature, everything dies, and the food is safe to eat. Go take a health and safety class from the health department before you spill out stupidity again.
