Сон ("Dream") was unveiled on the band's current North American tour and will appear on their upcoming fourth studio album, Belaya Polosa / Белая Полоса. Molchat Doma is a synth-pop post-punk rock band from Minsk, Belarus consisting of Egor Shkutko (vocals), Roman Komogortsev (guitar / keyboards), and Pavel Kozlov (bass / keyboards). This was one of the final nights of the band's 41-date North American Tour.

Molchat Doma official bio:
Molchat Doma (translated as “Houses Are Silent”), founded in 2017 in Minsk, Belarus, stands at the intersection of post-punk, new-wave and synth-pop. Dark yet danceable, and with a heavy dose of goth ethos, their music is reminiscent of the masters that predate them, but make no mistake: Molchat Doma creates a sound and meaning that is immediately recognizable as all their own.
The band is comprised of Egor Shkutko, who sings the Russian lyrics in his deep monotone, Roman Komogortsev on guitar, synths, and drum machine, and Pavel Kozlov on bass and synths.
Their second LP, Этажи (pronounced Etazhi, meaning “Floors”) was released in 2018. It has sold out more than 10000 copies and is currently on re-pressing due to outstanding demand. The song “Sudno” doesn’t leave the global top viral on Spotify since April 2020. Despite playing to packed clubs no matter whether it's in London, Warsaw, Helsinki, Belgrad, or Berlin, they are still flying under the radar in their native Belarus.

I attended this event! I had stumbled upon Molchat Doma back in 2019, but couldn't get to see play live them until last night because I went to prison. I enjoyed the show; I'll be awaiting their next album and next tour.

What did you think of them live ? I saw them in Santa Cruz on Tuesday. It was quite the experience. Excellent performance
They were great! I don't speak Russian but I was still captivated. Great energy, talented musicianship, and as you saw in Santa Cruz, they would do these instrumental interludes between songs that were especially cool.

Hi Aron, there was crowd noise, but it was drowned out by the speakers. They had the sound cranked up HIGH. It was one of the loudest concerts I've been to in a long time. 🔊
