- We present to you, the great post-punk/new-wave trio from Minsk, Belarus - Molchat Doma, exclusively performing Kletka for Taksirat Festival and PIN TV.

Taksirat is a unique festival, held since 1999, and since then has an extremely important role in building a "new" and better Skopje through various aspects and approaches to the counterculture. It is the biggest festival in Macedonia and the only winter music festival in South-Eastern Europe. Throughout the years, a lot of eminent domestic & foreign artists have performed here: Manu Chao, Kaiser Chiefs, The Roots, Chase & Status, Dubioza Kolektiv, Jean Michel Jarre, Goldie, Parov Stelar, Tricky, Juliette Lewis, Guano Apes, Laibach, Nouvelle Vague, Wailers, Sabaton, Kreator, Iggy Pop & the Stooges, Neville Staple (The Specials), Buzzcocks, Marky Ramone, and many others.
Held every year as a part of Taksirat Festival, Pin Music Conference and Showcase is the first and only international music conference and showcase festival in Macedonia. Unable to hold a live conference, we came up with the idea of PIN TV - a program inspired by crazy times for the music industry! Packed in an easy-to-watch television format, with a 13-hour duration, and a mission to keep your smiles on!

the guitar in molchat doma is legendary and will remain forever in the history of music
The main theme of the song is about the feeling of alienation, misunderstanding, and the search for a place where one can feel accepted and understood. The song describes the sense of loneliness and the desire to find one's place in the world where there is no need to run away or hide. The staircase (kletka) can symbolize the path to this place, where a person can find true happiness and understanding.

I just saw them live in dallas, I was so close to Egor Shkutko, I got goosebumps. He would stop and stare at the crowd as they played menacing instrumental music, and then suddenly he breaks into dance and sings. it was so amazing

Fact the guitarist is excellent on tone, effects and melodic capability. Drummer is rock solid, bass fits perfectly to balance the guitar and drummer. Then there's the singer very unique tone himself

This is good and at the same time a bit generic, if you listen to all the post-punk/new wave/coldwave music that has been released since the beginning of the eighties, including all the current bands playing in this style (Drab Majesty, She past away, The Soft Moon, Lebanon Hanover, etc. etc.). There have been many greater bands in the same style, IMHO. Except if there is some very special ingredient with which you feel a personnal connection in this band...
